"The history of Basilisks is too ancient, and their breeding was long ago banned by the Ministry of Magic, so very few books mention this point, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Just like Crumple-Horned Snorkacks, wizards don't believe such magical creatures exist, but my father once had the good fortune to see one in Sweden."

The girl tilted her head as she answered.

"What's a Crumple-Horned Snorkack?"

Colin's face was full of curiosity.

The girl explained:

"It's a magical creature with a peculiar horn but it can't fly."

"Alright, that must be a Nundu."

By now, George knew the girl's identity: Luna Lovegood.

Her father was Xenophilius Lovegood, editor of The Quibbler magazine, and her mother was Pandora Lovegood, who had died accidentally during a spell experiment when Luna was nine.

This showed that without a sufficient foundation in magic theory, creating new spells was indeed a very dangerous endeavor.

Because of her extensive family knowledge, what Luna said about eagle owls might be true, but he knew that the story about the Crumple-Horned Snorkack was something Xenophilius made up to humor his daughter.

The so-called Crumple-Horned Snorkack was actually a Nundu, and its peculiar horn had the danger of exploding.

"There's a seat here. I'll help you put your luggage on the rack."

Wanting to learn more knowledge from Luna that wasn't in books, George proactively stood up to help her lift the luggage from her trolley onto the overhead rack.

"Thank you, my name is Luna Lovegood."

Luna was also very interested in the eagle owl, so she didn't refuse. But seeing the thin George effortlessly lift her luggage onto the high rack, she couldn't help but exclaim:

"You're very strong!"

After Luna sat down, the three began chatting again.

However, it was mostly Colin, like a curious child, asking questions, and Luna answering. George listened quietly, only asking when he encountered knowledge he was interested in.

Choo-choo...

A long whistle sounded; the train was about to depart.

Just then, the compartment's sliding door suddenly opened, and a girl with thick, fiery red long hair, bright brown eyes, and a face as delicate and lovely as a doll walked in.

"Is this seat taken?"

She pointed to the seat next to Luna and asked.

"Everywhere else is full."

"No, you can sit next to me."

Luna smiled gently.

The girl clearly breathed a sigh of relief. Her brothers' absentmindedness (she would never admit she almost forgot that magical notebook) had caused her to be among the last to board the train.

"Little Ginny, we're here to help you."

At this moment, a pair of identical red-headed twin boys walked in.

They giggled as they helped their sister put away her luggage, then, under her annoyed shooing, they playfully left.

"Hello everyone, my name is Ginny, Ginny Weasley."

After chasing away her bothersome brothers, Ginny sat next to Luna and boldly introduced herself. She wasn't the shy type, except in front of Harry.

"Luna Lovegood."

"Colin Creevey."

"George."

The three also introduced themselves.

"George, your name is the same as my brother's. One of those two just now, he's also called George, George Weasley. Oh, right, what's your last name?"

"You can just call me George."

George smiled and didn't elaborate.

Although his name George and George Weasley's name George sounded the same, they were fundamentally different.

George Weasley's surname was Weasley, and his given name was George. His name was Qiao (乔), and his given name was Zhi (治), meaning to govern. His father hoped he could become an official and govern a region in the future, which was why he was given this name.

So, technically, according to the local custom, he should be called Zhi Qiao.

But he felt that sounded too awkward, so when speaking to people, he simply asked them to call him George.

"Ginny, how many brothers do you have?"

At this moment, kind Colin suddenly changed the subject. He felt that as an orphan, George probably didn't want people to know his last name.

Ginny didn't think much of it, extending both hands and bending down four fingers:

"Six. Bill works as a curse-breaker in Gringotts, Egypt. Charlie is a dragon tamer in Romania. Percy is in his sixth year. George and Fred are in their fourth year—you just saw them. Ron..."

"So many!"

Hearing Ginny's answer, both Colin and Luna looked surprised. So many children were rare, even in Muggle families, let alone wizarding ones.

Listening to the three chat, George moved his gaze from Ginny's luggage and sighed inwardly.

If all wizarding families could be as prolific as the Weasleys, wizards would probably have already ruled the world, and Muggles wouldn't be a factor.

Amidst the four's casual chatter, the train started moving, pulling out of King's Cross Station and speeding along fields filled with cattle and sheep, quickly heading towards Scotland.

It was their first time leaving home for such a long journey, and they were going to the famous Hogwarts. Even the quietest Luna was quite excited.

So, their conversation never stopped.

Because much of what they discussed later was unrelated to magic—it was about their respective childhood experiences and family situations—George gradually withdrew from the conversation and began reading his book.

Around half-past twelve, a smiling, dimpled witch pushed open the compartment door and asked:

"Dear children, would you like to buy some food from the trolley?

We have Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, Chocolate Frogs, pumpkin pasties, cauldron cakes, liquorice wands..."

Facing a trolley of magical snacks and the witch's inquiry, the three children simultaneously shook their heads.

Colin, being from a Muggle family, naturally didn't have much money. All his remaining funds had been spent on his magical camera.

Although Ginny was from a pure-blood family, her father had long ago been disowned by his family for being friendly to Muggles and fond of Muggle items. All the family's expenses came from her father's Ministry of Magic salary.

With so many children going to school, plus the particularly expensive Defence Against the Dark Arts textbooks for her brothers this year, even many of her own school supplies were secondhand. Where would she get money for snacks?

As for Luna, she wasn't short on pocket money, but she didn't seem to have much fondness for snacks.

"One of each, please, thank you!"

George knew the situation of the young wizards. He stood up and spent twelve Sickles and five Knuts to buy one of every snack, placing them on the table.

"Ginny, you just mentioned you knew a jinx called the Bat-Bogey Hex. I wonder if you could teach me when you have time?"

He pushed a quarter of the snacks towards Ginny, whose eyes immediately lit up. She nodded:

"Of course! That's my best spell. Even George and Fred have fallen victim to it."

"Luna, I'd like to ask you some questions about magical creatures."

George then pushed another quarter of the snacks towards Luna.

Luna smiled and nodded, not refusing.

Finally, George put aside his own share and pushed the remaining quarter towards Colin.

"Could you take a magical photo for me sometime? I'd like to keep it as a souvenir."
