Chapter 7 -"Sounds Of The Past"

[In principal office]

{The wind had gone quiet. Even the academy walls listened as the principal closed his eyes,His mind drifted — back to that howl. Back to the battlefield}

[Valthor Eidremor flashback]

[In the Battlefield 70 year's before the present ]

{ Valthor Eidremor cast a huge fireball spell and a huge number of monster gets wiped out , Valthor Eidremor turns back and calmly smiles and see toward his comrades }

Valthor Eidremor – " You sure take your time for killing monster , Halric Dawnscar"

{ bulky , big build man with long hair and strong body and a shining armour on his body with long and wide sword , Halric Dawnscar was a sword saint of that time 70 year ago and was unrivalled by anyone in swordsmanship }

Halric Dawnscar – "are you done with your side , o great mage Valthor Eidremor"

Valthor Eidremor – " I was done with my side a day ago "

Halric Dawnscar – " where is Vaelith , is she still fighting "

{a girl with golden hair , blue eyes and with huge gauntlets in both hand , punched a wyvern so hard it exploded mid-air , Vaelith Raeven was also known as Sorcar Queen at that time because she was the only sorcar who is as much strong as Sword saint and Great mage }

Valthor Eidremor –"that some way of showing off your power , Vaelith "

Halric Dawnscar – " I still think she should use sword in place of gauntlets"

{Vaelith looks and both of them and calmly smiles and says }

Vaelith Raeven – " if you both shut your mouth at these moments, I will help you do that with my gauntlet "

{they both become silent and looks away from Vaelith }

Halric Dawnscar –" we are done here where should we move next "

{a solider appear from behind and call them }

Solider – " greeting Great mage ,Sword saint and Sorcar queen , His Majesty has called you all in the palace "

{They all sees each other faces }

[In the Royal Palace]

{solider shouts Great mage , Sword Saint ,Sorcar Queen are entering }

{and they three enters the hall and see king sitting on the thrown , they don't bow or greet king in anyway }

Valthor Eidremor –" you called for us , King Aldemir Vaeloris"

{A tall man with silver hair and golden eyes and small white beard is sitting in the throne , King Aldemir Vaeloris is 8th ruler of the Kauld empire , he is very powerful and smart king , he is in same level as Sword Saint , Sorcar Queen and Great Mage in term of power }

King Aldemir Vaeloris – " yes first , I thankyou all three of you for doing such great job in handling monsters and saving kauld empire yet again "

Vaelith Raeven - " It our duty to safeguard the empire from unknown treats "

King Aldemir Vaeloris- " we have found a dungeon in Kauld empire "

{Vaelith , Halric and Valthor get shocked by the news }

Halric – " Inside the empire "

King Aldemir Vaeloris – "yes and its un-explored "

Vaelith – " it can be very dangerous for people in empire if monsters start coming out from there"

King Aldemir Vaeloris – " That's why I have called for you , I want you to explore and take control of that dungeon "

Halric – " when are we moving "

King Aldemir Vaeloris- " you all will be leaving within 3 days with imperial solider squad one with you "

[In the Noble residency ]

Halric – " Elyria where are you , I am back "

{ Elyria Dawnscar is wife of Halric Dawnscar }

Elyria – " so you are back , I always worry whenever you leave for battlefield "

Halric –" Why to worry , I am sword saint of the kingdom"

Elyria – " and I can't care less about that , what if something were to happen to you "

Halric " don't worry dear , I have Valthor and Vaelith with me to watch my back "

Elyria – " what sometime I don't feel good when you are at battlefield , why don't you take your retirement and we can start our family happily "

Halric – " why do I have to retire for starting a family , we can start family without retirement , tell me what do you want boy or girl"

Elyria – " for now nothing , I don't want my child to raised by some battlefield hero "

Halric – " battlefield hero is great achievement "

Elyria – " then stay happy with your achievements "

Halric – " don't be I like that , I will be leaving again in 3 days , let have some time in remaining 3 days "

Elyria- " so soon , why "

Halric – " they found a dungeon these time , so we have to go and check it "

Elyria – " dungeon isn't it dangerous "

Halric –" don't worry , these time even imperial solider will be with us "

Elyria – " still, I am getting a bad feeling about it "

[after 3 days]

{everyone gathers outside of the royal palace }

Halric – " so are you feeling scared , Valthor "

Valthor – " scared and me I am only scared of Vaelith punches and nothing else "

Vaelith - "may be I should show you both some of my punches , right "

{three of them are having fun while packing there stuffs , suddenly king appear from behind }

 King Aldemir Vaeloris – " you all seem rather calm as compare to situation "

Halric – " its not like our first time in dungeon "

Vathor – " yeah we all can handle it pretty easily "

King Aldemir Vaeloris – " that why , I am giving these responsibility to you all "

Vaelith – " don't worry , we will come back soon and with good news "

King Aldemir Vaeloris –" I know you will "

{they all climbs on the back of their horses and starts moving , three of them are making fun of each other while riding horses too , and just behind them imperial solider squad one also starts moving }

{they reaches at the location and sees a huge cave type dungeon under a huge mountain }

Halric – " so these is our location "

Valthor – " dungeon seems pretty huge from the entrance , what do think vaelith how many days will it take us to clear these dungeon "

Vaelith – " 2 day at most "

Halric – " I can clear it in just one day , you both just have to keep up with my speed that's all "

Captain of the imperial solider – " sir what are your order for us "

Valthor – " we all will be going in dungeon now , prepare your solider and station 2 solider at the entrance of the dungeon "

Captain – " yes sir "

{they all goes inside the dungeon with solider following them closely }

Valthor –" lets see , what comes out first , a goblin or a lizardman "

Vaelith –" Stay focus and alert, I don't want to carry a useless mage dead body on by back out of here "

{Valthor get annoyed by that comment and halric starts laughing at valthor}

{they were walking for a long time almost for 4-5 hour straight but haven't counter any monster till now }

Valthor – " where are these stupid monster , and they hiding from us "

{They reaches the end of the dungeon }

Halric – " what , is these really a dungeon "

{suddenly a random solider}

Solider – " sir I found something "

{they all goes to sees it and found a way leading to lower floor }

Halric – " dungeon with second floor , that new I haven't seen anything Like these before in any dungeon "

Vaelith – " we have to stay sharp I am not getting a good feeling all of a sudden "

Valthor – " what are you so afraid of , its just a second floor , we all will go and kill the monsters and return as always "

{they all goes to the second floor }
