Chapter 4 - Echoes of the Past

 [in majestic academy ]

[In Sorcar battlefield training department ]

{Hiroshi comes out of weapon room with "Chained Crescent" weapon }

[Chained Crescent is weapon in which blades and attached with chain on both side ]

Hiroshi – " its not that heavy, I can move around with it pretty easy "

{ Serin Nocthara sees the weapon and get amazed }

Serin Nocthara – " so its seems like you have chosen your weapon , okay then lets start , Auron you will be fighting these boy "

Auron – " yes master "

[Auron a second year student in sorcar department ]

{Auron moves toward the stage and lift his hand a Battle Axe come flying from weapon room to Auron hand }

{Hiroshi get shocked seeing that }

Auron – " hello freshmen my name is Auron , I will be fighting you today "

Hiroshi – " my name is Hiroshi , won't go easy on me "

{ Serin Nocthara sits in chair everyone sit downs to see there match }

Serin Nocthara – " okay then start "

{Hiroshi take attack position }

{Hiroshi cast a spell and throws stone bullet toward auron and rushes toward auron to attack him }

{Auron standing still slash in air with his battle axe and a strong wave destroy all stone bullet and send Hiroshi 6 tile back }

{Hiroshi get shocked with wide eyes sees auron }

Auron – "is that all "

{Hiroshi get annoyed and cast a spell of fire ball and throw fireballs toward auron }

{Auron cast a shield spell and easily counter that fire ball }

{Hiroshi get more frustrated and cast multiple spells but auron counter them with same spell }

Auron – "sigh…"

{auron suddenly banished from front of Hiroshi and come just behind him }

{Hiroshi get surprised and felt auron presence in his back and attack auron with blades and auron block both blade with axe and calmly sees in Hiroshi eyes }

{Hiroshi sees in auron eyes and feels inferior and get angry and attack with chain toward his eyes but get blocked by barrier spell }

Auron – " hmm.. "

{Hiroshi dash backward and see auron }

Hiroshi – " so now I will fight with you in my full strength "

{auron just tilt his head and see hiroshi which make Hiroshi more annoyed }

{Hiroshi try attacking throws one blade toward auron and rushes in opposite direction try to trap auron in chains but suddenly auron cast wind spell and fly in air }

{Hiroshi get surprised and see to the air , and at same moment auron launch attached and land in above of Hiroshi head and put him in ground beneath his feet hiroshi try to attack attack with blade but auron block it with axe }

Auron – " I guess that your all strength you were talking about a minute ago "

"Hiroshi get annoyed and angry but auron force is too much for Hiroshi to push him back from above him he tries but auron apply more force and again stuck his head in ground from his feet"

{Hiroshi close his eyes and says in his mind }

Hiroshi - "why I am so weak someone is putting my head in ground and I am not able to push him back why "

{Hiroshi then think about his flash back}

[flashback of hiroshi]

Hiroshi – " father I get 2 copper coin today see "

{father slaps him and shouts }

Hiroshi father – " whole day of begging and you only gets 2 copper coin such a waste you are "

{Hiroshi on the ground in pain }

Hiroshi – " sorry father " says in pain

Hiroshi father – " maybe I should cut off your one hand and then send you for begging , someone give some extra money out of pity "

{Hiroshi gets scared }

Hiroshi – " father I will try harder and bring more money please don't hurt me "

{Hiroshi mother comes from kitchen and sees everything }

Hiroshi mother – " hiroshi standup my child , you don't have to be so cruel toward your own son"

{Hiroshi father get annoyed and hits Hiroshi mother with a thick stick }

Hiroshi father – " who are you to talk like that with me , if you care so much then go and work and earn some money "

{Hiroshi father left and goes to bar and drink alcohol with his friend and do gambling with the money Hiroshi mother saved }

{Hiroshi father return to the home drunk }

Hiroshi mother –" you again gambled our saved money , how can you be so wasteful man "

{Hiroshi father get angry and hit Hiroshi mother again and stuck his head in wall and Hiroshi mother shouts and fell unconscious in the ground }

{Hiroshi listen the shout and rush toward the door and see his mother in ground }

Hiroshi – "father , mother is bleeding please help please take mother to the priest "

Hiroshi father – " priest ,,, h,, who is going to pay for the charges "

Hiroshi – " father please mother is going to die at these rate please father "

Hiroshi father – " die h,, who care let her die "

{Hiroshi get angry and pick up the stick and stuck his father head with full strength , his father start bleeding and shouting in pain }

Hiroshi father – " aaaa.. you bastard , come here I will show you "

{hiroshi quicky pick's up his mother and left the home and goes to clinic }

Hiroshi – " is anyone here "

{priest comes to the clinic door after hearing shout }

Hiroshi –" sir please save my mom please sir "

{priest sees them and make a weird face }

Priest – " who is going to pay the charges "

Hiroshi – " charges .. sir I will pay you eventually day by day I will work daily to pay your charge , but right now please save my mom please "

Priest – " pssst.. pay my charges if you work your whole life you will still be unable to pay my charges , beggar "

{priest closes the door and return }

{Hiroshi shouts }

Hiroshi – sir please sir sir …

{Hiroshi start crying suddenly he feel a hand to his head , he see his mother is barely conscious }

Hiroshi – " mother , don't worry mother , I am going to take you to a another priest "

Hiroshi mother – " sorry son these useless mother can't do anything to make your life any better and now she is going to left you behind all alone "

Hiroshi – "don't say like that mother , you are going no where "

Hiroshi mother – " son do anything you need to do to get out of these slum and become a rich person "

Hiroshi – " yes mom , and you have to stay with me until then mom… "

{Hiroshi mom die and Hiroshi starts crying and feel empty inside and so angry }

Hiroshi – " mom I am going to be a very rich man , you just wait "

[in present ]

[in sorcar battlefield arena ]

Auron – " hmm .. what is these "

{auron feel a surge of mana from Hiroshi body and dash backward 3 tile and take defensive position }

Hiroshi – " so you wanted to check my full strength , I will show you my full strength"

{suddenly a huge flow of mana get circulate in Hiroshi body and his eyes become blueish black and his weapon start glowing blue and start floating around Hiroshi and embrace Hiroshi in these way like snake is embracing a cold tree }

Auron – " now these is interesting "

Serin Nocthara- " so you awakened Chained Crescent , now that interesting "

{every student in arena hall gets excited }

{Hiroshi point his hand toward auron and blade start flying toward auron in full speed , auron dodged it and fly toward sky and see to blade down and when see toward Hiroshi , Hiroshi is already have launched attack and punch so hard and break his barrier and send him to ground and auron fall to the ground due to the after impact of punch }

{Hiroshi attack a fireball toward auron and a stone bullet at same time and auron counter both spell with his own spell , but Hiroshi tackle one of auron leg with his chain blade and pull him toward his side and punch auron face , auron sent flying 6 tile back }

{auron stands up little amount of blood start coming from auron mouth and auron wipe the blood and stand calmly }

Auron – " so let begin , Skullrender its getting annoying "

[Skullrender is the name of auron Battle Axe ]

{suddenly a black aura start coming out of auron body and his axe start glowing in black flames }

{Hiroshi see these and was about to launch attack but in the meantime auron uses teleportation magic and get behind Hiroshi and attack him , the attack was so powerful it send Hiroshi flying out of arena , Hiroshi starts bleeding heavily from his mouth }

{Hiroshi see auron from the ground and again standup but barely Hiroshi legs are shaking and takes attack position suddenly }

Serin Nocthara – " stop now , you lose Hiroshi you are out of arena "

{Hiroshi get upset and annoyed }

Serin Nocthara – " well done auron , Hiroshi you need to improve in so much aspect but you have the courage and you awakened your weapon too , so you pass and in sorcar department we don't choose weapon , weapon choose us so take care of your weapon , auron take him to academy priest "

{Hiroshi sees toward his weapon and start feeling dizzy but auron handle it and takes Hiroshi to priest for healing }

[Gnolls territory ]

Gnoll solider - "sir we searched the forest but still couldn't find the source of the strange noise"

Gnoll captain – " what the hell are you all doing , I want to know from where that howling noise came from chief is very angry because of your work , so if you don't want to lose your head find the source of the noise "

Gnoll solider –" yes . yes sir "

[gnoll are Hyena-like humanoids monster . Wild, savage, and pack hunters.]
