Chapter 11: Chapter 11 S Class Potential Threat
Alright Guys.
New Chapter. As for the fact that there was no chapter yesterday. I already decided not to hold to the one Chapter Per day schedule. You know, to avoid burnout fast and to give extra time to gather buffer chapters. So expect like four or Five chapters per week.
Moving on.
Powerstones, Comments, Reviews.
Enjoy.

The elevator doors slid shut behind the Takumi family, leaving Agent Yoshida and Dr. Tanaka alone in the sterile hallway of the 15th floor. The soft hum of fluorescent lights filled the silence as both women watched the floor indicator count down.
"Well," Dr. Tanaka said, adjusting her glasses with hands that trembled slightly from residual excitement. "That was..."
"Terrifying," Yoshida finished flatly.
Dr. Tanaka shot her a surprised look. "I was going to say fascinating."
"Same thing, in this case." Yoshida turned and began walking back toward the testing facility, her heels clicking against the polished floor. "Come on. We need to talk about this properly, and not where anyone can overhear."
They made their way to Observation Room C, a secure space typically used for sensitive debriefings. Yoshida sealed the door behind them and activated the privacy protocols, ensuring their conversation would be protected from any electronic surveillance.
"Speak freely, Doctor," Yoshida said, settling into a chair across from her colleague. "What are your real thoughts about Rei Takumi?"
Dr. Tanaka set down her stylus and leaned back. "Honestly? He terrifies me."
"Elaborate."
"Not him personally—the boy seems genuinely heroic in his intentions. But his capabilities..." She gestured at the rod.
"Agent Yoshida, if one of these things made contact with All Might, what would happen?"
"The same thing that happened to our volunteer today. Complete shutdown. Worse actually. The Paralysis effect means he couldn't even use his experience and training to compensate."
"Exactly. The Symbol of Peace, rendered completely helpless by a teenage boy's quirk. And that's just one component of his abilities." Dr. Tanaka pulled up her assessment files. "His physical enhancement puts him in the top tier of strength-based quirks. His barrier makes him effectively untouchable. And his nullification ability could neutralize any hero or villain on contact."
Yoshida nodded slowly. "The composite classification is unprecedented. Most quirks have clear weaknesses, defined limitations. His seem to complement each other perfectly."
"Too perfectly," Dr. Tanaka agreed. "I've been studying quirks for fifteen years, and I've never seen anything like this. It's as if his abilities were designed to cover every possible vulnerability."
"You think there's something unnatural about it?"
"I think there's something we don't understand about it. The lack of energy signatures, the way his barrier operates outside known physics, the fact that his enhancement shows no signs of strain or degradation..." She shook her head. "Either he's the most remarkable quirk evolution we've seen in decades, or there's something else at play."
Yoshida was quiet for a moment, considering. "The Commission has dealt with overpowered quirks before. There are protocols."
The scientist frowned and pulled up Ken's assessment data on her tablet, the numbers glowing ominously in the dim room. "Three-point-nine tons of lifting capacity, and that's while holding back. Seventy-six kilometers per hour in a straight sprint, with acceleration that suggests his top speed is much higher. Reflexes that put him in the top percentile of professional heroes. And all of this before his body has finished developing."
"Yes, it's impressive, but—"
"He's seventeen years old, not even eighteen. Barely a month into it. Most pro heroes don't reach these kinds of physical benchmarks until their mid-twenties, if ever."
"And that's just his enhancement quirk. We haven't even factored in the other two abilities. Complete physical invulnerability when active. No energy signatures, no apparent weaknesses, no detectable limits. He could walk through a building collapse, a villain's fire attack, even some forms of energy manipulation, and come out without a scratch. Perhaps it can be overcome with enough pure force. Hence containable. The suppression rods are another case. Instantaneous quirk nullification and complete nervous system paralysis. This is beyond The Erasure Quirk."
Agent Yoshida was quiet for a moment. "You think he's dangerous."
"I think he has the potential to be the most dangerous individual in Japan, possibly the world."
When she said this, she was being dead serious. In a world where 80% of the population had a quirk, and your quick basically determines if you could become a pro hero or not, an ability that could nullify quirks partially made its wielder a local powerhouse with unlimited Tactical value. Eraserhead was the prime definition. His ability to erase quirks meant that almost no villain was unbeatable. One look would strip away the advantage any quirk could grant. This was where his value lay. He was the counter against Quirks, villains, rogue heroes, possibly even all Might himself. He was also manageable, as there was only one Eraserhead.
Ken's null Rods carried the same effect, lacked the line of sight effect but held far greater Tactical Value.
"Look, I hope I'm being paranoid. I hope that boy grows up to be the greatest hero Japan has ever seen. Right now, he seems genuinely heroic. Sweet kid, loves his mother, has amnesia, wants to help people. But we need to be ready for the worst case scenario. If villains learned about his ability and captured him, they could potentially neutralize every hero in Japan."
Agent Yoshida glanced at the containment unit holding the black rod. "That's why you want to study this."
"Partly, yes. If we can reverse-engineer the suppression effect, it could revolutionize villain containment. But I also need to know if these rods have weaknesses. What happens if they're destroyed while embedded? Can they be negated by certain quirks? What are their physical limitations?"
"You want to find a way to stop him if necessary."
"The Commission has protocols for dealing with rogue heroes, but most of them assume we're dealing with individuals who have conventional quirks with conventional limitations. Ken's abilities operate on principles we don't understand, with apparent advantages we can't counter."
Dr. Tanaka picked up the containment unit, studying the black rod through the reinforced glass. "The suppression effect alone could be game-changing for law enforcement. If we could mass-produce something similar..."
"That's the secondary benefit," Yoshida agreed. "But the primary goal is understanding. We need to know everything about how his abilities work, not just what they can do."
"What about his background? The missing Ten years?"
Yoshida's expression darkened further. "That's another concern entirely. A boy disappears at age seven, reappears at seventeen with abilities that could classify him as a strategic-level asset, and has no memory of the intervening period? That's not a coincidence."
"You think someone was experimenting on him?"
"I think someone or something is responsible for his development, and until we know what, we can't rule out the possibility that he's not as innocent as he appears." Yoshida opened a secure communication app on her tablet. "Which is why this information needs to reach the right people immediately."
"Who are you contacting?"
"First, the Hero Public Safety Commission's Strategic Assessment Division. They need to know we have a potential S-class individual who could be either our greatest asset or our biggest threat." Yoshida began typing rapidly. "Second, All Might specifically requested to be informed of Ken's assessment results. Apparently, he was impressed by the boy's actions during the sludge villain incident. He wants to keep tabs on his development." Yoshida paused in her typing. "Third, I'm sending a recommendation to U.A. High School that they fast-track his application review."
"You want him where they can keep an eye on him."
"I want him where Eraserhead and All Might can keep an eye on him," Yoshida corrected. "If something goes wrong, they're among the few heroes who might be able to handle him. Plus, U.A. has the best support programs for students with unusual quirks."
Dr. Tanaka nodded slowly. "And if he's as heroic as he seems, he'll get the training he needs to use his abilities responsibly."
"Exactly." Yoshida finished her messages and set the tablet aside. "How long will you need to conduct a preliminary analysis of the rod?"
"With the equipment here? A few days for basic composition and energy field analysis. For anything more detailed, I'll need to take it to the Commission's main research facility."
"Do it. I want a full report within a week." Yoshida stood, smoothing her suit jacket. "And Doctor? This conversation stays classified. Ken seems like a good kid, but we can't afford to be wrong about this."
Dr. Tanaka secured the containment unit and gathered her notes. "Understood. What about the boy himself? Are you going to tell him about your concerns?"
"For now, we proceed as if he's exactly what he appears to be—a powerful but heroic teenager who wants to become a professional hero. We support his goals, provide appropriate guidance, and hope for the best while preparing for the worst."
---
Long after the door to Observation Room C had closed behind Agent Yoshida and Dr. Tanaka, the room fell into sterile, humming silence.
Minutes passed.
Then—without sound, without warning—a ripple of distortion shimmered in the far corner.
Black mist coalesced like liquid shadow, and a faint, mechanical hum broke the stillness as a figure stepped forward from the fog.
He moved without urgency, gloved hands slotting a small, unmarked drive into the terminal port beneath the central console.
No alarms sounded. No lights flickered.
Just a brief data transfer window flashing across the dormant monitor.
And then—nothing.
The mist withdrew, taking its passenger with it, leaving the room exactly as it was.
Undisturbed.
