I Became a Little Vampire Princess After Being Infected by a Game Virus

Chapter 47: I’ve Mutated and Grown Stronger

Chapter 47: I’ve Mutated and Grown Stronger

“Are you alright, Aier?”

Yake had just arrived at the scene. Seeing the Little Princess gasping for breath and looking extremely unstable, he quickly moved to support her, who was already struggling to stand.

“Oh… Yake, you’re here. I’m fine now; I’ve dealt with that guy. It’s just that I may have used too much Magic Power to take him down. I feel a bit weak but nothing serious.”

Aierjisi adjusted herself and stood up straight again.

“More importantly, Yake, hurry over to that forest over there. Check if Harker is still alive. If he is, finish him off quickly. We can’t let him have a chance to make a comeback.”

Aierjisi pointed towards the forest where Harker had fallen, urging Yake to go for the kill.

“What about you? In your current state, I can’t leave you alone.”

Rather than focusing on completing the kill, Yake was more concerned about Aierjisi’s condition; there could be other enemies around. If he left, the Little Princess would likely be at risk from any remaining foes.

“You don’t need to worry about me. Even though my Magic Power is low, I can still defend myself. Hurry over! Otherwise, if Harker recovers from his injuries, we’ll be in trouble.”

As a member of the Blood Clan, Harker’s recovery ability was as formidable as her own. If they wasted too much time, he might fully recover.

“Then… I’ll go finish him off. Wait for me here.”

“Yeah, don’t worry. I’ll be right here waiting for you.”

Just as Yake prepared to head to the forest, a chilling scream echoed from the woods. At the same time, Aierjisi sensed an even more terrifying aura radiating from that direction.

“Yake! Come back! Don’t go over there!”

She immediately commanded him to return. Given Yake’s strength, going forward would only result in throwing his life away.

Yake didn’t argue and quickly returned to Aierjisi’s side. Even he had felt that terrifying presence coming from the woods.

“Aier, what exactly happened over there?”

“I don’t know. But anyone who can emit such an aura is definitely not an ordinary foe. Yake, are there any places nearby we can hide?”

Aierjisi knew full well that even together, they wouldn’t stand a chance against their opponent. It was better to avoid a head-on conflict and find a place to conceal themselves until the danger passed. Fighting someone far stronger wasn’t bravery; it was foolishness.

“There are plenty of trees around. By the way, can’t you use concealment techniques?”

“If only they would work! Against someone like this, concealment probably won’t help at all. Forget it; it’s too late now. Yake, prepare for battle and see if we can create an opportunity to escape.”

Seeing their opponent emerge from the trees, Aierjisi realized it was too late to run. They had to brace themselves.

“Oh!”

Seeing Aier’s serious expression, Yake understood that this enemy was not to be underestimated. He had to summon all his strength to face this threat.

“Hahahahaha! This is incredible! I feel so amazing right now. I’ve never been this high before! Ugh, I feel like I’m going to puke.”

Harker landed in front of the duo. Having consumed the Seed of Chaos, he had gained unprecedented power, but the price was clear: he was no longer truly a member of the Blood Clan.

Now Harker had morphed into a complete monster under the influence of the Seed of Chaos, sprouting multiple heads of different creatures that emitted various wails. It felt like a scene right out of a survival horror game.

“Aier, what on earth is that thing?”

Seeing the ghastly sight, cold sweat trickled down Yake’s back. What kind of monster was this?

“Harker, the enemy I’ve been searching for, the one responsible for the disappearance of the Blood Clan. But this guy can’t really be called Harker anymore. His body has mutated like this, so I can only assume his mind is equally distorted.”

Just a glance at the current Harker made Aierjisi want to hurl. Just looking at him caused her sanity to falter.

“Hahaha, this is the power granted to me by the Adrian People. Isn’t it just exquisite?”

“Yake, how about we make a run for it while we still can? That guy seems caught up in his own hype.”

“I was just thinking the same thing.”

Seeing Harker lost in the pleasure of his newfound power, Aierjisi and Yake planned to escape while he was distracted.

“Trying to run? Not a chance!”

As Aierjisi attempted to flee, Harker flew right in front of them, blocking their path. He wouldn’t let the Little Princess who had just humiliated him get away so easily.

“Tsk, Yake, get ready for battle.”

“Oh.”

Yake drew his Sword, preparing for combat. Aierjisi channeled her remaining Magic Power, readying her spells to support Yake.

“Haha, come on! I won’t let you leave this place alive today!”

Harker roared with laughter as he advanced towards them.

“Yake, go!”

“Right!”

Yake raised his Sword and jumped, using gravity to enhance the downward force of his strike aimed at Harker. Harker countered using his now wing-like left hand to block the attack.

“What?”

“Your attack is too weak; get lost! My target is only that arrogant Little Princess!”

Having blocked the attack, Harker slapped Yake aside like a ragdoll.

“Triple Explosive Impact!”

Aierjisi quickly set up three magic circles, shooting beams of light towards Harker. He took the hits and was obscured by the smoke of the explosion.

“Did we take him down?”

“Not yet. Even with our power combined, we still aren’t enough to deal with him. Ah!”

Before Aierjisi could finish, Harker unleashed a jolt of lightning from his mouth, hitting her and causing her to lose her balance and fall to the ground.

“How does it feel, Aierjisi? How are you doing now?”

Harker didn’t allow Aierjisi a moment to catch her breath as he charged at her, trampling her under his monstrous foot.

“Stop it!”

Seeing the Little Princess being trampled, Yake couldn’t bear it any longer. He drew back his Bow and fired an arrow at Harker, hoping to divert his attention.
