In any case, it was already three in the morning by the time Aierjisi finally calmed down enough to sleep.
Four hours later…
“Aier! Aier! Wake up! The sun is already shining on your bottom!”
Yake shook Aierjisi’s body, dragging her out of the dream world and back to reality.
“Stop being so noisy! What time is it? Just let me sleep!”
Rubbing her eyes, Aierjisi was quite displeased. Normally, she could sleep as long as she wanted, but today she had to get up early. Especially since she had struggled to sleep last night thanks to that guy Yake, and by the time she finally fell asleep, it was already late. To sum it up, the Little Princess didn’t get enough sleep, and the consequences were dire.
“It’s already seven in the morning. Hurry up! Aren’t we supposed to pack and head out to meet the others today? Get up!”

“Of course! Hurry up!”
“Alright then.”
Reluctantly, Aierjisi crawled out of bed and followed Yake into the bathroom.
“Open your mouth, Aier.”

The Little Princess opened her mouth, and Yake carefully helped her brush away the grime from her teeth.
Even though Yake was utterly incompetent and could be quite infuriating, he did decent work in taking care of her daily needs. Considering that, choosing him as a servant didn’t seem like a terrible decision after all. She figured he’d just be there to handle her daily life while she could manage anything combat-related on her own.
“All done. Aier, let’s wash your face now.”
With the tooth-brushing operation complete, Yake moved on to washing the Little Princess’s small face. That pale little face needed to be cleaned well; otherwise, if dirt accumulated, it wouldn’t look pretty.
“Is it done? I think it’s about time.”
“Almost there! Come on, let’s head downstairs for breakfast. After that, we’ll come back up to pack. We’ll leave as soon as we’re done.”
Yake picked up the Little Princess and carried her downstairs for a delicious breakfast.

“That won’t be my last meal, Teacher Aisi! Can you not set such an ominous flag? I’m just going out to find some other companions, not to battle with enemies!”
Though she knew Aisi meant no harm, Aierjisi felt a bit uncomfortable. Using the term “last meal” here wasn’t appropriate.

“Mm. With your blessing, Teacher Aisi, I’m sure I’ll be able to successfully find the other five companions and put an end to this conflict. Yake, let me down; I can walk the rest of the way on my own. No need for you to carry me any longer.”
“Got it.”
That said, Yake still set Aierjisi down on a chair, not letting her feet touch the ground.
“Now, please enjoy this breakfast I prepared for you. Since it uses ingredients from human society, I had Reina help me while cooking. The taste should be guaranteed.”
This breakfast was made using a cooking method Aisi had never tried before, with different ingredients requiring distinct seasonings and cooking times. Without Reina’s help, Aisi likely wouldn’t have been able to prepare this meal.
“Oh, Teacher Aisi, why are you so shy? I know about your cooking skills from the Blood Clan. I’ll indulge myself without hesitation.”
Seeing the mysterious meat steak on her plate, Aierjisi cut a piece and popped it into her mouth. Mmm! Not bad! This flavor was the unique taste only Teacher Aisi could create.
“How is it, Your Highness?”
Aisi looked nervous, unsure whether this steak made with a new method would suit her palate.

Calling Yake to sit, Aisi returned to the kitchen to bring out more of the pre-prepared steaks.

Looking at the mountain of steaks, Yake’s expression soured. How much did all this cost? And having meat for breakfast wasn’t the healthiest choice either.

The Little Princess’s personal items, like gold coins and clothes, were all stored in subspace. So there wasn’t much for her to pack.
“I’ll go pack by myself then. You just wait downstairs, Aier.”
Yake went upstairs to gather his clothes and some travel essentials.
