Lyla stared blankly for a few moments, faintly amused by the sight of Wally walking out of an explosion completely unharmed. A relieved expression threatened to break through her composed exterior, but she quickly suppressed it. Looks like I've struck gold, she thought.

The agents around her were equally stunned, trying to comprehend how Wally had emerged unscathed. To them, the phenomenon seemed almost magical—a result of technology far beyond their understanding.

As Wally approached, his figure abruptly blurred and vanished from sight. Startled, the agents instinctively surrounded Lyla, raising their weapons in a protective stance. An instant later, Wally reappeared at their side. The agents reacted immediately, aiming their weapons at him.

"Mr. West, we have a lot to discuss," Lyla said, her voice firm as she gestured for the agents to lower their weapons. Though they obeyed, their wariness lingered. His sudden disappearance had triggered their instincts—it could have easily been an assassination attempt. Considering A.R.G.U.S.'s history of infiltration, including the incident that led to Amanda Waller's death, their caution was justified.

A few minutes later, they were seated in a conference room. Lyla maintained her blank expression, but the sharpness in her eyes betrayed the flurry of thoughts running through her mind.

Wally chuckled internally, satisfied. He knew he had left an indelible impression. In his mind, the groundwork for their cooperation was already laid. By tomorrow, he believed everything would fall into place.

Still, he felt slightly frustrated. Lyla's abrupt interruption earlier had cut short his demonstration, preventing him from showcasing the healing serums he had developed. No matter, he thought. I'll simply have her test them later.

Lyla broke the silence. "The items you've brought today—I'd like to take them off your hands. How much would they cost?" Her tone was professional, as always, and her expression unreadable.

Wally leaned back slightly, pretending to consider her question as he ran calculations in his head.

"The value of the combat suits is around $500,000 each," he began. "I've brought ten of them, so that's $5 million. The upgraded suits, fitted with additional functionalities, are worth $2 million apiece, and I've brought five of those—$10 million in total."

He paused briefly before continuing, "Then there's the pulse reactor, priced at $10 million per unit, with five units—that's another $50 million. Lastly, the healing serums, which are $20 million each. I've brought five, so that's an additional $100 million."

Wally leaned forward, meeting Lyla's gaze. "In total, we're looking at $165 million. What do you think?"

Lyla's expression remained neutral, but the gears in her mind were clearly turning as she weighed the cost against the value of Wally's innovations. Where did he get the funds? she wondered. Reaching this level of advancement required extensive research, countless failures, and enormous resource consumption. Yet here he was, claiming there was insufficient funding.

Her eyes lingered on him with suspicion for a few moments before the expression faded. Whatever his methods, she decided not to pry—for now. As long as it didn't pose a threat to the populace, she could overlook the mystery surrounding his rapid progress.

"Okay, then..."

The remaining process went smoothly. Surprisingly, the payment was transferred almost immediately. This confirmed Wally's suspicion that ARGUS supervisors had already approved the allocation of resources.

By now, it was afternoon. During his dealings with ARGUS, Wally had instructed Alfred to secure a warehouse in Star City. This would streamline future transport and logistics for his operations.

Once the truck returned to the pocket dimension, Wally glanced at the time. There was still plenty of time left before Barry and Iris's housewarming party. He considered delving into the exact changes Alfred's actions might have triggered.

Something felt... different. He couldn't quite place it, but he instinctively knew something fundamental had shifted. If only he could identify it, perhaps he could manifest it more effectively.

For now, though, there was something more pressing to address: his future sight. It had been some time since he'd tried to master the ability. Though it had proven invaluable in moments of danger, he had put its refinement on hold. Now seemed like the right time to revisit it—perhaps something had changed.

Sitting down in his infamous lotus position, his palms resting on his lap, Wally closed his eyes and focused. He replayed the memory of his battle with Savitar, searching for the feeling that had triggered his future sight back then.

Minutes passed as he mentally relived the scene over and over again until he finally felt something—faint but undeniable. Seizing onto the sensation, Wally delved deeper.

Before his eyes, several scenes began flashing—rapid, chaotic, and overlapping. It was unlike the typical future sight he had experienced before. This time, it felt... different. Similar, but fundamentally altered.

It wasn't a direct vision of the future but rather a flood of possibilities, like his brain was running countless simulations simultaneously. Scenes blurred and shifted rapidly, forming and dissolving in an instant.

Perhaps, he thought, my mind is becoming fast enough to calculate a few seconds into the future.

A great example was the future Barry he knew, who was connected to an artificial Speed Force. This link altered his brain, enabling him to predict and calculate countless possibilities in unfathomable time. However, it came at the cost of his emotional intelligence, making it both a strength and a weakness.

Obviously, his version was different. In his deduction, Wally guessed it was likely a mutation between future sight, his enhanced cognitive capabilities, and his altered Speed Force signature.

He delved into the sensation, gradually becoming more adept at it. However, he still couldn't bypass the limit of 5-10 seconds. But he wasn't about to complain—it was more than enough for now.

Returning to studying the changes in his Speed Force, Wally, with Alfred's help, concluded that the changes were related to a form of energy manipulation. With time, it would manifest.

Time slipped by like a speeding river, and before he knew it, evening had arrived. Prompted to pull away from his research, he quietly returned to his villa and put on a casual yet formal outfit.

With that, he headed toward Barry and Iris's apartment. Before leaving, he glanced at the car that had arrived some time ago, but his laziness stopped him from driving it.

He glanced at his watch. The time was right—7:30 p.m. Making his way into the building, he could hear several voices coming from the room. It seemed he was the last to arrive.

Wally stood outside the door to Barry and Iris's new apartment, taking a moment to collect his thoughts. He could hear the low hum of conversation and occasional laughter spilling out into the hallway.

Family, he thought, was something he'd always cherished. But tonight, he felt a weight in his chest—a reminder of the unspoken distance he'd been feeling lately, not just with others but within himself.

He knocked sharply, the sound interrupting his train of thought. The door opened almost immediately, and Iris greeted him with a wide smile. She looked radiant in a red gown, her eyes sparkling with the excitement of the evening.

"Wally!" she exclaimed, pulling him into a quick hug. "What took you so long? I was starting to think you wouldn't come."

Wally returned the hug, offering a faint smile. "Got tied up with a few things, but I wouldn't miss this."

"Well, come in. Everyone's already here," she said, gesturing him inside.

The apartment was as welcoming as Wally had expected. Warm lighting bathed the room, and the minimalist decor had just enough personal touches to make it feel like home. Barry and Iris had done well—they were ready to settle down together.

As Wally stepped further inside, he caught sight of the others. Joe stood by the kitchen counter, his ever-watchful gaze softening as he saw Wally enter.

Cisco and Caitlin were deep in conversation near the dining table, their laughter adding to the warmth of the gathering. HR was by the fireplace, enthusiastically gesturing as he shared a story with Julian. Even Pietro was there, blending in surprisingly well despite his usual aloof demeanor.

Barry approached, his grin easy and genuine. "Wally, glad you could make it." He extended a hand, which Wally shook firmly.

"Wouldn't miss it," Wally said, his voice more assured.

Barry gave him a knowing look. "Good. Tonight's about family, you know. Not just for Iris and me but for all of us."

Wally nodded, the words resonating more deeply than he cared to admit. "I know," he said softly.

After some light conversation and catching up, Iris called for everyone's attention. She clinked her glass gently, and the room fell silent as all eyes turned to her.

"First off, Barry and I want to thank all of you for being here tonight," she began, her voice steady but full of emotion. "This gathering is... a symbol of everything we've worked for, everything we've fought for and are still fighting for..."
