I AM HIS ONLY LOVE

Chapter 67: [ YOU HAVE TO LEAVE]

The sky was getting dark, blocking the sun from shining it beauty. Lighting striked continuesly and tender followed loudly, and the living room became a bit darker due to the lights that were put out in the morning, but Enoch remain seated gazing at Abigail's soft thigh that was in front of him as he squeezed the fork and spoon in his hands.

Abigail looked down at him and upon seeing his reaction she knew she was going to win. She placed her palm on her left knee and drag it backwards, and her red dress went along. She smirked and licked her lips as she saw Enoch swallowing had but still remain seated with his sight stack to her thigh.

She rapped her hands around his neck and was about to drag him closeer when it started raining cats and dogs, bringing Enoch out of the Lust prison he was in. "Oh! It raining, I have to close the door." Enoch said with a mockery smile, pushing his seat backwards as he stood up and work to the door which led to the backyard of his house.

"Oh no, I want to watch as it rain." Abigail said as she jumped off the table and run through the door to the backyard.

" But Queen it's cold out there and the rain is pouring heavily." Enoch tried to stop her .

" I know, and I love it." At that, Abigail stepped into the rain happily and in seconds, her dress got wet completely, showing what she was wearing underneath her dress.

Enoch looked around to see if there was anyone else with them, and thankfully, it was just the two of them. But who knows how long that will be? He had to get Abigail back inside before any of the workers sees her like that, he can't afford that.

"Queen, can you come so we can continue from where you stopped?" Enoch said hoping he could get Abigail out of the rain, but it didn't work. He started sweet talking her but none of the words he spoke entered her head.

She happily jumped and dance in the rain, moving around with both hands holding on to her dress, forgetting they were not alone in the house. After so many failed attempt, Enoch had no option than to step into the rain himself to get her.

He got into the rain but still Abigail didn't want to get out. Running here and there, she escaped Enoch's attempt to catch her, coursing Enoch to get drenched as well. He became fed up and wanted to get out of the rain, but he feared Abigail might fall sick if he doesn't get her out of the rain.

Suddenly the sound of a car entering the house was head, and Enoch got the opportunity to grab Abigail since she stopped running to check what it was. He carried her in a bridal way and went back inside as Abigail kept giggling.

Upon entering the living room, they both saw a lady dressed casually in a blue knee-length dress with black coat and a pair of black heels, and a man covering her with an umbrella, walking towards the living room. Gideon had forgotten to close the door behind him earlier, making it easier for the woman to enter.

"What are you doing here?" Enoch asked casually as he made Abigail stand.

"I should be asking her, don't you think?" Efua's voice rang in the room, and Abigail turned to look at Enoch, before looking back at Efua.

"Can you go upstairs?" Enoch said, turning to Abigail as he tried to make her leave.

" No there's nothing for her up there. I want her to live now." Efua said commandingly as she held Abigail back by the hand.

" Okay but can she at least change?" Enoch asked Efua with dagger eyes.

" No she has to leave now." Abigail was surprised upon hearing that. She slowly took her hand out of Efua's grip and turn to face Enoch fully.

" She said I should leave, and you agree with her?" Abigail asked, doubting her ears. She waited for Enoch to say something, but he remain emotionless making it hard for Abigail to know what he was thinking.

" Well, are you leaving or not, or you want me to show you the door?" Efua asked, and at that, she placed her black bag on the dining table and held Abigail's hand again.

" You don't have to do that, she..." Enoch tried to stop Efua when he noticed she wanted to drag Abigail out of the house.

"Then tell her to leave. Now." Efua said angrily, interrupting Enoch from completing his statement.

"You have to leave." Enoch said simply, looking everywhere but at Abigail.

"I should leave? You want me to leave because she said so?" Abigail asked, almost in tears, hoping Enoch will reply her at least but he didn't say anything.

Left for Efua alone, Abigail would have been able to teach her a lesson, but seeing Enoch on her side made it harder for her to think of what to do. Efua did not hold a candle to her in any way, not in beauty or intelligence much less self defense. Looking at her, Abigail couldn't tell what would've made Enoch get involved with her, if not for her father's trap.

Efua was everything opposite Abigail, in both good and bad ways. While Abigail was a bit tall, slender and fer with waist length hunny-gold hair, Efua was a bit short, dark shoulder length hair with her breast a little over size, making her upper body look bigger then the lower part, and also dark in complexion.

The only thing that makes Abigail loss chances against Efua was the fact that she was rich and also had control over Enoch. As it is now, there is nothing she can do then to leave, but how was she supposed to step out of the house in such dress, and that to as wet as she is. But over her dead body will she beg the spoilt brat called Efua to let her change.

"Well, you heard him. Get out!" Efua said, pointing to the door, but on second thought, she held Abigail's hand and forcefully walked her out of the room and into the rain again pushing her to fall.

Fortunately, even though Abigail was not looking where she was going but still looking at Enoch to figure out what was going on, she landed in Gideons waiting arms. He was returning from an errand he run for his boss, only to witness that.

Gideon knew Abigail was going out of the house soon, but he didn't think it will be on this day and that to in that manner. Oh how he wish he could give that witch a piece of his mind, but what can he do if his boss has decided to sell his soul to the devil.

"Gideon, get in here, unless you want to go with her." Gideon helped Abigail to stand straight and then looked at Efua who had a smirk playing on her lips. Oh how he wish he could wipe that smirk off her face.

He looked at Abigail and she was still wearing the red night dress she was in when he came earlier, and looking at her, she looked as if she had no strength left in her. The worst of it all was that, he can't say anything to Abigail even though he knows everything.

He let go of her and nod his head to give her assurance before getting into the living room, but that wasn't enough. Abigail broke into tears as soon as Gideon left without saying anything, and with the little strength in her, she worked out of the house feeling embarrassed and disappointed.

Back in Enoch's living room, Efua had made herself comfortable changing the channels on the TV while tapping on her phone from time to time. And in the study, Gideon was updating Enoch on the errand he run for him, but with the look on his face, he could kill.

"Did you have to kick her out like that." Gideon ask without looking at Enoch.

"What is wrong with the two of you? She accused me of bullying you and here you are accusing me of kicking her out. Am I the only bad person here." Sarcastically, Enoch asked, making it difficult for anyone to tell what his emotions were.

"And you let that woman do that to miss Abigail?" Not believing what he just found out, Gideon gathered the files on the table and begin walking towards the door. "I'll be leaving now." He said while going out.

" I haven't dismissed you so you can't leave. Wait for me." Enoch said, working after Gideon then left for his room when Gideon stopped.

"This is yours, and give this to the Landry, let them know I have a meeting tomorrow so you'll be going for it." A suit bag and a cell phone was handed to Gideon by Enoch as he spoke, and by holding the bag, Gideon got his boss's coded massage clearly.

"Yes boss, may I please take my leave?" Gideon said politely, but his anger could be heard.

"What is it with the formalities?" Not sure of what Gideon was thinking, Enoch asked.

" I do not wish to be reminded of my place again ser, if you may, I'll be taking my leave." Gideon said and before Enoch could say anything, he started working away immediately he saw him nod his head.

He went to his car and started the engine to drive of, but when he looked into the driving mirror, he saw his boss and only friend standing at the doorstep with an emotionless face, but knowing him well, Gideon could tell what was going on in his mind, he was very sad.

After thinking and watching his boss for a while, Gideon drove off and out of the house, knowing he had to be somewhere important than where he was currently. May God grant him the strength to do the right thing.
