Hp/Marvel: John Wick The Witch King

Chapter 160: Chapter 160: Outburst and Silence

"What's happening?"

The entity possessing Ariana watched, stunned, as its domain came to a grinding halt.

The Mind Stone on the Infinity Gauntlet glowed, and the four other magic crystals pulsed with entwined purple arcs. John clenched his hand tightly, and a shockwave of white light rippled through the space, leaving shattered fissures in its wake.

With the final ripple, the dimension broke apart.

John clasped his hands, transferring the Silver Hand from his right to his left. He attacked again, this time with several times the power, his magic boosted to inexhaustible levels by the gauntlet. He was like a giant swinging a hundred-zhang sword, cleaving through the projected land.

Layers of the Hell projection shattered, and the creatures that followed screamed as they were banished back to their own realm. Agnes and the entity simultaneously deployed their defenses, but John's attack, though slowed, did not stop.

Agnes was aghast. How could a wizard possess such power? We're both wizards, how can you be so unreasonable?

The Hell Lord shared her astonishment. As a being from another dimension, its strength was immense. It had believed not even the Supreme Sorcerer could halt its ambition. Yet here was a young man, suppressing it and a powerful witch single-handedly.

"This is impossible!" it roared through Ariana's lips, its energy surging.

Mirror-like scenes appeared from all directions, flipping upside down. John lost his footing, and a moment later, Ariana's half-crazed face was before him, her hands clamped around his neck. He was falling, endlessly falling, as the entity chose a new strategy: to drag him from the crumbling projection directly into Hell. As long as it possessed this body, it could be summoned again. Repairing a damaged projection was far easier than starting anew.

As they fell, the Hell Lord's power grew. John, however, simply smiled. "You shouldn't have left Agnes's side."

Agnes, no matter how crazy, would never willingly enter Hell. Now, it was just the two of them.

John touched the crown-like bracelet on his sister's wrist. "It's time to wake up, Ariana," he whispered.

Her ferocious expression froze, a flicker of clarity crossing her face. "Brother?"

The entity seized back control, its expression startled. "What's going on?"

John's smile widened as he raised his wand. At the very moment they plunged into Hell, he spoke. "Soul, return."

An ancient, obscure language echoed in the Hell Lord's ears. Its expression froze. "Ancient Elvish?"

Its body exploded into a cloud of smoke, losing control once more. John pulled his sister into his embrace as golden wings spread from his back, enveloping them both. They crashed into Hell. The huge impact kicked up a cloud of dust that momentarily drowned them. John's wings vibrated, and a hot wind blew the dust away. He lay in the desert, holding Ariana, and looked up at the soul that had attempted to possess his sister's body. It gradually turned black within the silver mist.

The horned, reddish phantom burrowed back into the body. Ariana opened her eyes and punched John's chest, sending dust flying.

"Consciousness descending?" he muttered, the Iron Armor Charm dissipating. Before she could strike again, he sent her flying with an Expelling Charm, then vanished and reappeared behind her.

Having returned to its home dimension, the Hell Lord's control over Ariana's body strengthened. Her form exploded into a ball of black mist, a voice filled with surprised delight emerging from within. "Hahaha… this power!"

Obscurus.

Though Hell was not the Dark Dimension, it savored dark power. Coupled with the Hell Lord's own strength, this force rose to another level. A dark tide slammed into John, swallowing him whole. Before the entity could rejoice, the same dark power exploded from within. John, transformed into an Obscurus himself, entangled the other.

The Hell Lord shrieked, "How can you have it too!" Had Dormammu's followers grown so powerful? Worse, John's Obscurus was stronger.

"Soul, return," the ancient language sounded again.

Silver threads extended from inside the Obscurus, drilling within, trying to pull the Hell Lord out. "No one can stop me!" it roared, resisting the soul scalpel.

John responded calmly. The entity's consciousness had descended, intending to assimilate Ariana's soul, but this fell squarely within John's domain. Amidst the Obscurus entanglement, a Silver Hand slowly reached out, the old wand descending as the Mind Stone on the Infinity Gauntlet lit up. The Hell Lord's consciousness collided with something monstrous and let out a scream.

Unable to maintain the Obscurus form, it rapidly shrunk back into Ariana. Silver threads supported her body as it fell, drilling inside. Forced into a corner, the entity gave up control and retreated deep within her, refusing to come out.

John dispelled his Obscurus state, the black energy flowing back into his body. The gauntlet returned to his right hand, from which millions of silver threads extended, each a blade capable of cutting souls. Tiny scalpels drilled into Ariana's body, searching for traces of the Hell Lord.

"It's useless," its voice sounded, now with a hint of smugness. "As long as I don't come out, you can't force me. Unless you kill me, but that would require destroying this body along with me." Knowing John wouldn't harm his sister, the entity was emboldened. "I can promise you, I will reside in this body and not harm her," it said, softening its tone. "I just want to go to the human world to develop followers. You've seen what Hell looks like. Not many people truly enjoy staying in a godforsaken place."

Upon hearing this, John narrowed his eyes. Negotiation?

"You think I can't do anything to you?" he smiled, withdrawing the soul scalpels. The entity, bewildered, quickly regained control of the body. John put away his wand and clapped his hands together. Looking up again, his eyes were filled with a chilling madness. "It's not just you who can invade other dimensions."

Centered around him, a mysterious and bizarre pattern of lines and circles appeared on the ground, spreading outwards. Hell began to tremble.

"Besides being a wizard," John declared, "before you is also the Wizard King who mastered the highest alchemy of the magical world!"

The powerful beings in Hell all felt something terrifying descending upon them. John grinned, facing the Hell Lord's terrified expression, and spread his hands as if conducting a grand concert. "Welcome to the highest hall of alchemy."

A large gate carved with a tree-like pattern descended into Hell. The sleeping Hell Lords awoke, their pupils filled with surprise. "What is that, so tyrannical?"

The Gate of Matter, representing truth and fairness, appeared within the dimension of Hell. Behind it, embedded within an oak tree, was a core that emitted an eternal freezing cold, turning the land of flying dust into a Hell of frost and ice.

John smiled slightly and elegantly took off his gloves. "Release my sister," he said, his voice dropping to a whisper, "or I will bury this Hell."
