At Coral Island, amidst the brewing storm, operations continued smoothly. Over the past few days, Xia Chen detected fluctuations related to Honkai Energy.

The consecutive occurrence of two small-scale Honkai Events signaled to Xia Chen that this city was nearing its tipping point with Honkai.

However, this moment could arrive within days, months, or even years. After all, in the vast flow of time, it's still considered 'near'.

Regarding the handling and reporting of these Honkai Events, he had prepared detailed reports and submitted them to Amber. This constituted his only communication with Headquarters during this period.

Otherwise, he primarily maintained contact with Ana privately.

Ana's mood recently seemed rather downcast, not due to Wendy but because of Xia Chen.

To Ana, Coral Island undoubtedly represented a perilous place. The 'Dream's Omen' heightened her vigilance towards this location.

Selfishly, she wished to have Xia Chen reassigned away from here.

However, Xia Chen was now an S-Class Valkyrie.

Having served Schicksal for many years, Ana understood that tasks assigned to S-Class Valkyries were always of utmost importance. Although unaware of the core details behind the Stairway to Galaxy Project, just being a foothold for exploring space garnered significant attention for the endeavor.

Exploring space...

As someone at the forefront of global affairs, Ana fully understood the significance of exploring space.

For many years, there had been little progress in cutting-edge sciences.

She was acquainted with Nagamitsu, who often lamented that due to Earth's material limitations, numerous ideas could not be realized. Even the theoretically flawless Fourth-Gen Valkyrie Armor faced constant setbacks because of inadequate materials, causing her continuous frustration.

Schicksal needed more advanced materials.

If they couldn't find them on the surface, they would delve underground; if not found there, they would explore beneath the oceans; and if still unavailable, they would venture beyond the skies; ultimately, seeking resources from worlds beyond their own.

Although Ana's power hadn't yet reached S-rank, through her connection with Schariac, she always knew what Schicksal required.

Thus, the Stairway to Galaxy Project held immense importance.

And hence, Xia Chen must go there.

Therefore, she had no way to remove him from that assignment, even appealing to her father wouldn't help.

All Ana could do was give Xia Chen repeated reminders each day, almost becoming like a nagging old father herself.

Xia Chen cherished this feeling of being cared for deeply.

However, at present, he could only let things unfold as they were meant to.

The collapse of Coral Island involved too many factors, making Xia Chen hesitant to interfere and risk disrupting the delicate balance. Any deviation from the true data on Honkai's brink and civilization's tipping point could render all efforts futile.

Thus, he couldn't rush.

He had to wait, observing the development of humanity's largest community on Coral Island, gather crucial data, and inform Schicksal accordingly.

Moreover, this impending Honkai presented an opportunity for him to forcefully alter fate. Whether Ana could escape destiny's shackles would become clear after this event.

Deep down, he wanted to know if the System's capabilities were truly infinite or subject to forced corrections.

Therefore, despite Ana's constant reminders, he never felt impatient.

Just as Xia Chen prepared himself to await the arrival of Honkai, a small unexpected incident occurred.

Juno, the leader of the Thousand Fists Union, sought his assistance.

"Thousand Fists Union... strange, is there anything on Coral Island that they can't handle?" Xia Chen furrowed his brow, "Could it be that Raven has come after them?"

In the original storyline, Thousand Fists Union served as mere background, primarily to facilitate Raven's search for Chen Tianwu.

However, by now, Chen Tianwu should have already joined World Serpent.

Therefore, if the Thousand Fists Union sought aid, it must be due to something else entirely.

For an organization of ordinary humans, unless a major nation mobilized its military against them, the Thousand Fists Union had little to fear. But with involvement from groups combating Honkai, their need for assistance became understandable.

Schicksal wouldn't target the Thousand Fists Union, and Anti-Entropy could also be largely ruled out, given their Valkyries were outdated. That leaves only members of World Serpent as potential threats.

Upon arriving at the Thousand Fists Union, expecting trouble from Raven, Xia Chen instead encountered unfamiliar enemies - a truly terrifying individual.

Xia Chen couldn't quite describe her dreadfulness, but he knew the mental pressure she exerted was comparable to Durandal's. In contrast, her serene eyes, reminiscent of autumn waters, along with her delicate Eastern features, seemed insignificant.

"Who are you?" His gaze ignited with the desire to fight.

"I no longer use names."

The woman's voice remained emotionless as she looked at Xia Chen without any trace of sentiment. "Of course, if you need a name to address me by, you can call me Hare."

Hare of the World Serpent.

Xia Chen felt his senses reach their highest alertness; there was no doubt that this person was entirely unfamiliar to him.

In the previous game, information about Hare was scarce: After Herrscher of Sentience returned to Taixuan Mountain, the World Serpent sent Hare to approach her. However, Kiana intervened first.

He initially assumed Hare intended to persuade Herrscher of Sentience to join the World Serpent.

Now, upon reflection, it was likely not persuasion but rather 'retrieval.'

And somehow, Hare had unilaterally delayed this retrieval process.

Xia Chen guessed a possible reason but didn't voice it aloud. Instead, he calmly asked, "Has Raven mentioned anything about the importance of Coral Island?"

"So, the one I've been seeking is indeed you," replied Hare, her demeanor much gentler than Raven's—at least for now.

She merely incapacitated the members of the Thousand Fists Union with unconscious blows.

The cause of this conflict wasn't significant; her sole purpose was to find Xia Chen.

Xia Chen formed a hypothesis in his mind.

"Shall we talk outside?"

"Nagazora City," the girl, whose appearance was serene like autumn waters, responded.

Xia Chen couldn't help but silently mourn for Nagazora City for a moment, foreseeing yet another wave of calamities awaiting it.

Meanwhile, in Europe at Schicksal Headquarters.

Unaware that Xia Chen had caught Hare's attention, Kiana stood with a serious gaze, facing her opponent:

Wendy.

Whether by coincidence or deliberate arrangement, Wendy was assigned as the examiner for Kiana's A-rank Valkyrie assessment. With Wendy's strength, she undoubtedly qualified, but considering her young age, most believed someone else should have been chosen instead.

Given Wendy's lack of prior experience, even she felt somewhat uncertain about this role. Little did she know, it was actually a position Ana had 'secured' for her.

After all, Wendy had been isolated from external affairs for too long.

She looked at Kiana and asked, "Are you ready to begin the trial?"

"Don't worry."

This marked yet another—countless times—Kiana had attempted the A-rank Valkyrie assessment.

Schicksal had repeatedly given her numerous chances, well aware to Kiana herself.
