Hokage Teacher: With Dimensional Teacter System

Chapter 34: Chapter 35: The Clever Asuma

"That's not right. Even if I didn't give you the money, it's still our family's. How could it be considered profit?" Asuma sorted out his thoughts and refuted.

"Then you're quite clever," Mu Yue smiled and complimented him.

Although he was praised, Asuma couldn't shake the odd feeling inside.

"Anyway, go ahead and quit from the old man. I don't need a tutor," Asuma leaned back against a tree, giving up entirely.

"Since you don't want to be taught by me, then just don't come along, or tell the Third Hokage and the others. That's all you have to do," Mu Yue suggested.

"You think I'm stupid? If I did that, wouldn't all the blame fall on me?" Asuma raised his head slightly, pride in his voice.

The Third Hokage didn't mind, but Asuma was afraid of his mother, Biwako, getting upset.

Mu Yue silently agreed in his heart. It was true that Asuma was naive. If he used the excuse of Asuma not cooperating to quit, all the blame would fall on Asuma.

But he had no reason to do that. After all, it was too easy to handle a nine-year-old brat like Asuma.

"Why do you resist having a tutor so much?" Mu Yue didn't rush to get Asuma to start his training; instead, he continued talking to him.

"You wouldn't understand if I told you," Asuma shook his head, giving the look of someone who felt misunderstood.

"Why wouldn't I understand? It's just that you don't like your father's arrangement," Mu Yue directly said.

Given Asuma's background and personality, it was easy to guess the reason for his rebelliousness.

Asuma was naturally talented, and while he wasn't on the level of those who had "cheat codes" for life, he was considered a genius. His training was solid, and Mu Yue could tell that Asuma had a strong foundation.

But being the son of the Third Hokage meant that any effort he put in would be taken for granted. If he succeeded, people would say, "Of course, he's the Third Hokage's son," and if he failed, people would criticize him.

Living under such circumstances, it was no wonder Asuma's relationship with the Third Hokage wasn't great.

After graduating as a ninja, Asuma thought he'd grown up, but then his father hired a tutor, which made Asuma feel completely underestimated.

"You only see the surface of things," Asuma still wore that "you wouldn't understand" expression, until Mu Yue spoke again.

"Isn't it because you've worked so hard, but in the end, all you get is, 'Of course, you're the Third Hokage's son'?" Mu Yue smiled, saying it casually.

Asuma's face instantly changed, his gaze at Mu Yue turning a little fearful. This was something he had never told anyone, and to have Mu Yue bring it up now felt like having his soul laid bare.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Asuma tried to brush it off.

But the restless way his hands moved exposed his inner anxiety.

"If you really want to prove yourself, you should accept the tutoring, strengthen your abilities, and prove yourself through your own strength," Mu Yue continued.

"After all, right now, you're far from excellent," Mu Yue directly dismissed Asuma's abilities.

First, his inner thoughts were exposed, and then his entire self was negated. Asuma suddenly became anxious, defending himself:

"I was always first in my class at the ninja academy. How could I not be excellent?"

Mu Yue smiled and said, "Do you believe that if I picked any student who just entered the ninja academy, you wouldn't be able to beat them?"

Asuma laughed angrily. If Mu Yue was talking about a graduate, that might make sense, but someone who had just started? Even a fresh student like Kakashi wouldn't make him nervous.

"You can go ahead and find one. If I lose, I'll listen to whatever you say from now on," Asuma said, making a bold declaration.

"Of course, if I win, you'll quit," Asuma added.

"Deal," Mu Yue smiled.

Then, Mu Yue sent out a shadow clone to bring over Shisui.

Asuma looked him up and down, and after a few glances, he realized Mu Yue wasn't lying. Shisui was indeed a young student who had just entered the academy.

"This is Uchiha Shisui, one of my students. He just turned six and is in his first year of ninja academy."

"And this is Sarutobi Asuma, a newly graduated Genin."

Mu Yue introduced the two of them.

"Uchiha Shisui, huh? Let me tell you now, if you can't keep up, just admit defeat quickly so you don't get hurt. I won't go easy on you," Asuma said.

"I'll be careful, Sarutobi-senpai," Shisui responded seriously.

"Start!" Mu Yue didn't waste any time and announced the beginning as soon as the two were in position.

As soon as Mu Yue's voice faded, Asuma charged forward, swinging his fists rapidly at Shisui.

Shisui met him calmly, engaging in close combat with Asuma.

The two exchanged blow for blow, but despite his larger build, Asuma couldn't gain any advantage.

Asuma's expression changed after a couple of moves. He quickly realized Shisui was not to be underestimated, but he hadn't expected it to be this difficult.

Not only did he fail to gain the upper hand, but when he rushed in too quickly, trying to force a win, Shisui took the opportunity to land a Leaf Hurricane kick that sent Asuma stumbling backward three meters.

However, Shisui didn't pursue the attack, as Mu Yue had instructed him to try to win in all aspects without rushing it.

A Genin who had already graduated being kicked back three meters by a student who had just entered the academy? Even though Mu Yue was the only one watching, Asuma felt embarrassed and his face turned red.

He didn't have time to think about why Shisui hadn't followed up. All Asuma could think about was proving himself by defeating Shisui and saving his face.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!" Asuma quickly formed hand seals and released a large burst of flame.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!" Shisui also formed hand seals, gathering chakra in his mouth, then released it all at once as a massive fireball.

The two fire techniques collided. Shisui's fireball, larger and more powerful, quickly overpowered Asuma's, pushing forward toward Asuma.

Asuma stood stunned as their jutsu clashed, watching in disbelief as his fire was overwhelmed.

How could this happen? He was losing to a student who had just entered the academy, and in such a lopsided way.

In taijutsu, he had been kicked back three meters. In ninjutsu, he had been overpowered.

Was he really just the Third Hokage's son, with nothing else to show for himself? Doubts flooded Asuma's mind as he questioned his worth.

The fireball drew nearer, and Asuma, feeling the heat, snapped out of his daze. He tried to dodge, but his speed wasn't enough to completely avoid it.

At that moment, Mu Yue made his move. Chakra exploded from his body as he quickly formed seals.

"Water Style: Water Wall Jutsu!"

A solid wall of water appeared in front of Asuma, blocking the massive fireball from hitting him.

"Sensei..."
