The meeting finished around 11 and Cheng Xiao had an hour before her coffee date. They walked into the office and all the murmuring seized. She walked to her and placed her bag down before heading out to make fresh coffee.
"I'm heading!" She said as soon as she opened the door.
"Heading out?" He asked looking up from his laptop.
"Yes!"
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"Lunch!" She responded.
"Don't you have a business lunch with me today?" He asked furrowing his eyebrow.
"I know, but I am going to meet someone over coffee." She said.
"Who is it?"
"Someone you don't know." She responded.
"Don't you work to do..."
"Finished it." She cut him off.
"Anyway, I'm heading I'll be back in time." She left and closed the door before he could say anything else.
Xu Kai sat there thinking about who she was going to meet. He didn't like the fact that she was not in his site. He looked at the time and saw that it was 12:15 pm and there was forty-five minutes before the business lunch.
Shen Mu looked at Cheng Xiao heading and quickly ran to her.
"Are you heading out?" She asked.
"Yes, and I have to be quick before he comes and call me."
"That date?"
"Yes" She nodded.
"Well, all the best." Shen Mu said and said goodbye to her friend.
Shee walked back to her desk and opened her phone.
"Hey, would you to meet?" She saw a message from an unknown number.
"Who are you, and how did you get my number?" She texted back.
"I'm the doctor that is treating your mother." He texted back.
She banged her head on the desk and groaned "MOM!" She groaned. People turned to look at her.
"Mu Mu, are you okay?" A colleague asked.
"Yeah, my mother just gave my number to a doctor that was treating her."
"Is your mother doing matchmaking?" The colleague asked.
"Yes, she said that she wants me to get married immediately and is I can't find a groom then she will find one for me."
"So, what did the doctor say?"
"He said that he wants to meet." She said and quickly sent a respond to the message
