Guide To Train My Beast Husbands

Chapter 11: Everything In Order

The next morning, when Ruan Zeqiu woke up, he found his sister huddled in a corner. She looked really scared and guilty, as if she had done something wrong.

Ruan Zeqiu frowned and then looked around the cave and soon found out that the large stone bowl that he used to store beast blood was gone. He turned to look at his sister and placed his hands on his hips. "You threw the stone bowl out once again, didn't you, sister?"

Ruan Chanchan, who was acting as an ostrich, stiffened when she heard the words of her brother. The bowl! She was in such a hurry to escape yesterday that she completely forgot about bringing the bowl back. Damn it!

She lost both the food and the bowl.

"I didn't…" Ruan Chanchan confessed in a soft voice. She didn't throw it out; she just forgot to bring it back because she was in a hurry to keep her little life. She had read all about bears, as they were quite interesting in her eyes and thus knew that the bears ate their prey alive.

She did not want to be eaten alive! So how could she worry about the stone bowl!?

"Don't you lie!" Ruan Zeqiu hit her on the head and chastised her. "How many times have I told you that the bowl is not something that you can use to play? This is the third time you have thrown the bowl out of the cave because you wanted to play with it. Out with it, where did you put it?"

"River", Ruan Chanchan replied while rubbing the spot where Ruan Zeqiu had hit her. Fortunately, the previous owner of this body was a klutz just like her and caused trouble on a daily basis; if not, what would she even do in this situation?

When Ruan Zeqiu heard that his sister had thrown the bowl in the river, he was speechless. What was she even doing with the bowl? Trying to float on the water?

He shook his head and then turned around to get the bowl back, but as soon as possible. Beast blood was distributed every now and then; he liked to drink it as well, like the rest of the beast mers. Thus, that bowl was important for their family!

However, just as he stepped out of the cave, he saw a bowl sitting outside next to a small puddle of water.

Ruan Zeqiu: "..."

So this was what his sister meant by river? If this were a river, then the one flowing in the forest must be the Grand Sea.

He sighed, picked up the bowl and then entered the cave before saying to Ruan Chanchan, "Sister, you need to be clear with your words. A small water puddle is not a river."

Ruan Chanchan, however, did not care about the misunderstanding that Ruan Zeqiu had regarding the river and the puddle. She was staring at the stone bowl as if she were looking at her death warrant.

Oh my dear heavens!

That bear actually chased her all the way to the cave!

She looked down at her hands and legs to make sure that she was not missing anything, and once she finished counting, she patted her chest in relief. Everything was in order.

Who would have thought that she was just a few feet away from death?

Ruan Zeqiu noticed the actions of his sister and frowned. Don't tell him...his sister became even more retarded.

He looked at his sister with a frown and sighed.

His sister was one of the most beautiful women, with her burning red hair, which resembled the Blazing Flower, and red burning eyes that were similar to those burning holy flames in the cave of the priest.

Unfortunately, she was a fool.

"Sister, are you alright?" Though Ruan Zeqiu was confused due to the actions of his sister, he couldn't help but be concerned. What if something was wrong with his sister and she couldn't tell him?

"I am... I am going to die," moaned Ruan Chanchan with her face buried in the ground. She was going to die; she just knew it. That, Xie Daiyu actually came to look for in the middle of the night; most probably, he was marking down her cave and going to make a move tonight.

Damn it, if she had known that this would happen, she would have rather starved. Three cup noodles at the cost of her life; it was way too expensive!

However, while Ruan Chanchan was planning to hide in her cave or maybe dig a hole and bury herself in it, she felt her body suddenly going light. At first, she did not understand what was going on, but when her world turned upside down, she realised that the tiny mer had picked her up and tossed her on his shoulder like a sack of rice.

What —

"Sister, hold on tight; I am going to take you to the priestess," Ruan Zeqiu told Ruan Chanchan before sprinting out of the cave and rushing to the cave where the old priestess of the tribe was.

The beastmen and women woke up early, as they needed to plan their hunts. Thus, when Ruan Zeqiu rushed out of the cave with his sister on his shoulder, almost everyone turned around and looked at them. They saw Ruan Chanchan lying limply on Ruan Zeqiu's shoulder and couldn't help but stop him and ask what was going on.

"Auntie Baidi, I will talk with you later on," said Ruan Zeqiu worriedly. "I don't know why my sister suddenly said that she was going to die. I am really scared."

His mother said those words before she went missing, and so did his daddy when he died. He was worried that Ruan Chanchan would leave him too; thus, Ruan Zeqiu dared not treat this matter lightly. He hurriedly rushed to the cave where the priestess lived, the chubby woman stopping him from following close behind.

"Priestess Yuan!"

Ruan Zeqiu shouted while standing outside the entrance of the cave. "Are you in there?"
