Genshin Impact: The Gambler of Teyvat

Chapter 175: Chapter 175: The Sabzeruz Festival

Shajin strolled leisurely outside, the golden sunlight casting a warm glow over his frame, outlining his tall silhouette.

Not far ahead, Furina stood with grace and poise. The blush on her cheeks had yet to fade, making her look as radiant as the first peach blossom of spring.

"Fufu, I'm ready~!" Shajin called out to her with a beaming smile.

At the sound of his voice, Furina shot him a playful glare. Her eyes could charm souls, but beneath that was a trace of bashful annoyance. Then, with an elegant lift of her feet, she began to walk toward him.

Shajin watched her with an air of ease, resting his hands behind his head and murmuring aloud.

"By the way, Fufu, do you know how to get to that place in Liyue?"

The moment he said that, Furina froze mid-step as if struck by a Petrify spell.

For a few seconds, the only sound was the soft rustle of leaves in the breeze. The air turned awkwardly still.

Seeing her bewildered expression, Shajin couldn't hold back anymore—he burst into uncontrollable laughter, nearly doubled over with tears in his eyes.

Naturally, this only made Furina more annoyed. She suddenly raised her dainty fist and swung it straight at him.

Shajin clearly hadn't expected her to actually hit him, and he took the punch squarely.

Still, he reacted quickly, exaggerating his pain with a dramatic grimace.

Furina, seeing his ridiculous act, couldn't help but puff up with pride. She crossed her arms and snorted.

"Hmph! Serves you right for always teasing me, you scoundrel!"

She even gave a little wave of her fist in mock warning.

Seeing her in this mood, Shajin wisely dropped his grin, gave his chest a gentle pat, and stretched lazily.

"Alright, alright. No more jokes."

Then, straightening his tone, he continued seriously.

"The Moonchase Festival's still a ways off. We've got two options: I can teleport us directly to Liyue, or… we can walk through Sumeru on foot before heading there."

Furina didn't hesitate.

"Of course we'll take the second option!"

Her quick answer didn't surprise Shajin in the least.

After all, they'd spent the last 500 years in Fontaine, seeing the same scenes day after day. Now that they finally had the chance to explore beyond those borders, how could Furina possibly pass up the chance to admire the scenery along the way?

Wanting to see the world was only natural.

But… going to Sumeru, huh…

Shajin rubbed his forehead.

He wasn't sure how far the script had progressed there~

He couldn't help but chuckle to himself.

That girl, Lumine, was probably still in the middle of her "reflection arc," wasn't she~

"Achoo!!!"

Suddenly, a loud sneeze shattered the stillness.

Lumine covered her nose and mouth, her shoulders shuddering slightly.

"…Weird," she murmured, rubbing her nose in confusion.

She frowned, trying to figure out why she'd sneezed so abruptly.

Was someone talking about her behind her back? Or was it just coincidence?

Scratching her head, she tried to shake off the daze.

"I better not be catching a cold…"

She muttered, though a hint of uncertainty crept into her voice.

After all, while traveling, anything could happen. Getting sick now would be troublesome.

Up ahead, Paimon suddenly stopped, turned around with hands on her hips, and shouted,

"Traveler! Why are you standing there zoning out? Hurry up already!"

Lumine snapped back to attention at Paimon's call. She quickly shook her head and replied,

"Don't rush me, Paimon."

She took a deep breath and adjusted her pace as she walked toward her floating companion.

"The Sabzeruz Festival… we haven't missed it, have we?"

As she walked, she looked up at the sky, silently praying they were still in time for the grand celebration.

After all, the Sabzeruz Festival was one of the most important events of the year—it would be a real shame to miss it.

"Hmm… Let's head over to find Dunyarzad. I'm guessing she's probably near the Grand Bazaar—the same place she showed us before."

"Found her! Dunyarzad, we're back!"

Paimon waved excitedly at her.

Dunyarzad lit up with joy.

"Traveler! And little Paimon! You really kept your promise—I'm so happy you made it in time to celebrate the Lesser Lord Kusanali's birthday with us!"

Lumine spread her hands in a helpless gesture.

"Well, it'd be too much of a shame to miss it."

Dunyarzad nodded.

"Indeed. The festival starts tomorrow, and after all the preparations… I must admit I'm a little nervous."

Paimon chimed in reassuringly.

"No need to worry~ The Lesser Lord Kusanali will definitely feel everyone's heartfelt devotion!"

A gentle smile bloomed on Dunyarzad's face.

"Thank you, Paimon."

"I just hope everyone who attends the Sabzeruz Festival will have a wonderful time."

"Oh, right—did you two visit Port Ormos? Find anything interesting there?"

Lumine and Paimon exchanged a glance.

"Of course we went, and… we ran into a lot of stuff…"

"Unfortunately, no leads about the Lesser Lord Kusanali."

"In fact, the mystery just got deeper…"

Rather than disappointed, Dunyarzad sighed with admiration.

"Ah, I see. Sounds like you've gained yet another adventure worth envying…"

"…If I had the chance, I'd really love to—"

Before she could finish, a voice interrupted from nearby.

"Miss… with your current condition, going all the way to Port Ormos wouldn't just be troublesome for me—it'd be an outright disaster~"

The speaker had piercing ice-blue eyes, sun-kissed skin that shimmered in the sunlight, and flowing black-gold hair that danced with every confident step.

To the desert people, a beautiful and agile woman was a symbol of vitality, deserving of admiration.

Her outfit was a striking ensemble of black, red, and gold. She wore a halter-style crossed bralette with a trailing cape behind her. Her right arm was clad in metal armor and a long black-gold glove, tipped with claw-like finger guards. Below, she sported ripped skinny pants and tall high-heeled boots.

It was Dehya.

Paimon finally noticed her leaning casually against a nearby flowerbed.

"Dehya! You were eavesdropping this whole time?!"
