Chapter 75: Chapter 75: Reverse Blade Sword - True Strike
Collei was sleeping soundly.
After exacting her revenge, she had finally let go of everything.
Even the nightmares and torment that had haunted her seemed to be extinguished with each stab she had delivered.
Now, she was truly asleep, with no dreams to disturb her rest.
Bai Luo glanced at the Dendro Vision in his hand, but he had no intention of keeping it.
Not only because he couldn't activate a Vision, but because once a Vision recognizes its owner, it becomes bound to them, making it impossible for anyone else to use.
What puzzled him, though, was the style of this Vision.
Each nation had its own distinct design for the Visions.
Mondstadt's Visions had six-winged crests, Liyue's were squared and rock-like, and Inazuma's resembled the Raiden Shogun's Euthymia, with a circular design akin to her Ocular Talisman.
But Collei's Vision... Bai Luo had thought it would follow the Mondstadt design, given that she had acquired it on Mondstadt soil.
To his surprise, however, the design was more like those of Snezhnaya.
Was it because he had interfered with her process of obtaining it?
More confusing still was the attribute!
Was he somehow destined to be tied to the Dendro element for life? Even those he nurtured ended up being connected to Dendro.
He looked at his own Dendro Delusion and fell deep into thought.
His thoughts, however, were quickly interrupted by the system's notification.
[Achievement Unlocked: Growth Without Forcing]
[Reward Acquired: Dio's Steamroller]
[System Error... Error Code: 651]
[Detecting missing class: The World]
[Reward reset in progress...]
[Reset successful!]
[Reward Acquired: Reverse Blade Sword - True Strike]
"???"
Bai Luo was stunned. "Give me back my steamroller, you damn system!"
On the once green grass, now stained red with blood, Bai Luo's class suddenly changed to Battosai, and the reverse blade sword in his hand began to glow.
With a soft clink, his previous broken sword fell to the ground, replaced by another blade in his hand.
The sword looked similar to the previous reverse blade sword but had additional attributes and active skills:
[Reverse Blade Sword - True Strike]
+20% Critical Hit Rate
Unique Passive - Sharp Edge: Critical damage is increased to 250% (values exceeding this are not added).
Unique Passive - Non-Lethal: Your normal attacks cannot kill any human beings (does not include gods, immortals, demons, or other special life forms).
Unique Active - True Strike: Clears all abnormal statuses and immediately refreshes the cooldowns of [Amakakeru-Ryu-No-Hirameki] (Cooldown: 180 seconds).
If the skill is not on cooldown, True Strike's cooldown is reduced to 3 seconds. ]
There's a saying about the term True Strike.
It is said that when a swordsmith creates a divine blade, they often make two swords.
The superior one is called the True Strike Sword, not meant for human use, but to be offered to the gods.
Even the second sword, the Shadow Strike, though slightly inferior, is still a masterpiece and is often gifted to renowned samurai or close friends.
The Battosai's skills were already terrifying, with the burst of true damage from the Amakakeru-Ryu-No-Hirameki being the nightmare of many. Now, with the addition of the Reverse Blade Sword - True Strike, the terror that came with the Battosai class was doubled.
If he encountered someone with high defense but low health, two Amakakeru-Ryu-No-Hiramekies could end the fight instantly.
However...
"I still really want that steamroller."
With that thought in his mind, Bai Luo picks up the broken sword on the ground. Filled with determination, he carried Collei on his back and headed towards Mondstadt.
The missionary was dead, his body now covered by grass and vegetation on Starsnatch Cliff, discovered by a couple on a date.
For a long time, Starsnatch Cliff, once a romantic spot, became a haunted one—until the Church of Favonius claimed to have exorcised the evil spirits, finally calming the situation.
During this period, countless men cursed the wretched soul who had died on Starsnatch Cliff.
The Knights of Favonius, already overwhelmed by the diplomatic disaster caused by the death of a foreign diplomat, were even more baffled by this turn of events.
No matter how the knights' representatives tried to explain things, the Fatui refused to let the matter go—especially the people the missionary had brought with him.
While the knights faced their struggles, Diluc's situation, on the other hand, was smooth sailing.

At Angel's Share, the tavern owned by the Dawn Winery.

Diluc wiped glasses behind the counter, observing the unusual guest in front of him.
The Ausbilder, who hadn't ordered beer like most patrons but instead milk, sat there, swirling his drink in a fancy wine glass, of all things, rather than the common beer mugs the tavern used.
"Did you do it?"
Diluc continued polishing the glass as he asked, looking at Bai Luo with suspicion.
Bai Luo, ever the picture of a kind and gentle man, smiled warmly—an expression that easily earned others' trust. But Diluc knew just how dangerous this seemingly gentle young man truly was.
"Speak plainly—what will it take for you to leave Mondstadt alone?"
"You make it sound like I've done something to Mondstadt already... By the way, I like your outfit."
Today, Diluc wasn't dressed in his usual thick aristocratic garb, nor was he in his Darknight Hero attire. Instead, he wore a simple bartender's uniform. With his hair tied up in a ponytail, he looked quite refined—he might even outshine Jean if he made a bit more effort.
"If you're only here to compliment my clothes, then please leave. The milk is on the house."
Diluc had tolerated Bai Luo's banter long enough, hoping to extract some useful information, but the man had skillfully dodged every meaningful question, instead steering the conversation off-course. Diluc was losing patience with this so-called "guest."
"Are you really that upset already? Anyway... how's that favor I asked of you coming along?"
Seeing that Diluc was genuinely getting ready to kick him out, Bai Luo decided to stop toying with him.
"Is there even any point in continuing?"
Diluc paused his glass-polishing and looked up with a sarcastic smirk.
His original plan had been to use the black fire from his Delusion to draw the missionary's attention, thus shifting the Fatui's focus from Mondstadt to himself as the Darknight Hero.
But now that Bai Luo had gone and killed the missionary, all his efforts had been for nothing.
"Since you're already branded as the one who killed a diplomat, why not add killing a missionary to the list? After all, that guy had been after you for days. No one would question it if you were the one who took him out."
"We've thought of that too," Diluc replied, "but now that the missionary is dead, Mondstadt has no one in charge here aside from the consul. The Tsaritsa isn't going to accept any excuses we give."
Just as Diluc said, in the original plan he and Kaeya had concocted, the missionary was supposed to capture him with Kaeya's cooperation. Then, Diluc would be transported to Snezhnaya as a prisoner in the missionary's custody.
Over the past few days, Diluc had been probing the missionary's strength, and he was confident that, with his Delusion, he could escape during the transport.
That would have shifted all the blame onto the missionary.
But now...
"Did you forget about me? I'm a Fatui officer too, you know. Don't I deserve some face here?"
"..."
There was a sharp crack as the glass in Diluc's hand shattered against the floor. His lips twitched slightly.
For all their planning, he and Kaeya had completely overlooked the fact that the very Ausbilder they had been scheming with was, in fact, one of the highest-ranking members of the Fatui themselves.
