Electric Princess [Railgun]

Chapter 15: Sunday – Heart like a volcano

Just like in the morning, right now a certain tsundere had a disgruntled/dissatisfied expression, this time, flavored with embarrassment. So she asked sarcastically: "Okay, how could something like this happen to just the two of us?" As Mikoto previously intended, she headed down to underground, to the indoors areas of the island water park attraction, in search of a certain person. Inside, traversing crossing corridors, aisle after aisle, passing staff here and there, she ran into #4, alias Mugino Shizuri, in one of the corridors.

.

By pure chance, they turned into this corridor full of vending machines, at the same moment, each from the opposite side. Both Espers at the fifth level, were originally accompanied by one more person. But both female guides companions disappeared in the moment when the two of them froze facing each other in staring contest. Looking at each other, in the proverbial duel of glances, as if a battle skirmish was about to happen, just from the principle itself.

So now, these two are standing alone in a relatively narrow hallway as both walls/sides are cluttered from one end to the other with vending machines of all sorts and purpose. Despite the fact that they are located in a luxurious Aqua Park and everything you can think of should be available in the adjacent stands or boutiques, someone thought; (that for the peace of mind of the visitor), to whom a personal approach and luxury was creeping up his neck; he will introduce a corner with modern vending machines. Those are found in Japanese cities (like on every corner), in so much numbers, that they have become one of the icons of Japan culture.

These mute spectators have already seen more than one story or drama and now they have become the audience or the backdrop for a duel scene as if cut out of a movie about the American Wild West, when two gunmen faced each other on the empty main street of a town in a dry prairie.

The automatons on both sides could serve as a reference to the wooden buildings from these films and they cargo as reference to town people. So one might notice that through the tense situation, on one bottle in the bubbly soda bar, a drop of condensed dew ran all the way down. On the other hand, the red ribbon in the hairdresser's supply didn't even move with bated breath. The ceiling lighting as well as the backlight of the machines, was like the scorching midday sun of the desert. The almost inaudible hum of cooling, heating and fans was like a musical backdrop that faithfully accompanies these film duels. All that was missing was the call of an eagle flying through the sky, and the inherent yellow ball of dry Tumbleweed that would sweep across the road from one side to the other when these desert bushes decided to go on a pilgrimage with the help of the wind for a better place to live.

I'm sure these girls could handle a gun duel even without firearms weapons. In their performance it wouldn't be a gun duel, since both can handle an armored battle tank. So a random witness would say that it was a duel between two naval cruisers, which they metamorphose to took an appearance of young ladies.

They both realized the deadlock in which they found themselves. Especially when it came to the ugly fact that the (safe-line) companions: Who could act as distraction to them as they could have talked to. Or rather: the people who should have pulled them out of this deadlock; simply disappeared without noticing. Those two just exchange single glance, then look back to the aisle they come from, and without word or hesitation run back. As if they retreated at the first sign of a problem they didn't cared about. Like screw this trouble, I am out!

.

At one point, Meltdowner clicked her tongue in displeasure. "Tcs, jerk off! They don't pay me enough to bother myself with some random encounters. I'd rather pretend I didn't even see you, so don't try to start something!" She folded her arms under her chest as she began to look around at the machines, as if scanning they items until something will capture her attention.

Railgun almost cough up from what she just heard. Two seconds passed before she pulled away, averting her gaze, trying to guard her temper. "You know what?-- I'm too not interested in this match making either. On the other hand, it must be advantageous that someone gets paid for their own mischief."

.

"Huh?" The taller brunette uttered as she walked over to one of the vending machines from which she wanted to pick up something. "It's called a job, but a (pretty public face) like you should know that. Before you ask, I was hired from the top, and I quote: (For modeling that can turn defensive.) What a crap! I already have a list of people that I will definitely visit for the terms of the assignment and such. The high fee was already suspicious, so I thought it would be something other than this crap, like an escort mission for some VIP targeted by terrorist."

Mugino was about to leave when Misaka called out to her. "Hey, I'm looking for a certain person with spiky hair, did you saw him somewhere?"

.

Stopping just to slightly glancing back, Mugino though. "Hmmm? You don't mean that poor guy, who looks like some accident is going to happen to him, every time he tries to be daring? Like reaching out for happiness?" Shizuri frowned at Mikoto hiccup, as she herself remembered something unpleasant. "Oh yes, that idiot. The one who shout a bold claim toward the heavens and the heavens sent a calamity down to the earth. I saw him when the simulator exploded. (Not by my doing!)" Charring the purchased item, she took a quick step forward not looking back. "So when you find him and those of his idiots who completely demolished it there, give them a good one for me too." She added loudly before turning at the corner.

Mikoto was left alone in the underground alley. Or so she thought as she approached a random drink machine. Staring at the offer in front of her, which she didn't pay any notice, she thought for a moment, considering what was actually going on around her and why she feel like being left out of it all. (("Strange, not only do they keep my friends away from me, but they also isolated me from contacting others like on a deserted island. If it really was just a hacker attack, that someone is trying too hard to blame me for it, it would be understandable to have me under surveillance. But somebody also brought my sisters to this place. What's more, I still can't imagine why they gathered so many fighting people in one place. If I didn't know that something serious was going on in the background, it would have been swept under the rug and I will said that they want those who don't go out much to have a nice experiences just for once."))

As the brown-haired girl stood there motionless, for a few seconds a certain little girl with her face, with a shopping bag over her shoulder, was standing next to her, staring intently at Railgun. "What are you thinking about, Onee-sama? Misaka as Misaka asks, stunned by the fact that the older sister is blocking the machine that has exactly the can that she intended to get. At the same time, she stares at the buyer with a pleading look, expecting that drink whose key is too high for Misaka to reach."

.

Mikoto was so tense from her previous encounter with Shizuri that the appearance of this little one completely derailed her though. It literally shook her. She widened her eyes at the little miracle that suddenly appeared next to her. "What?..." She took a step back.

"Hm? What's going on, Onee-sama? Misaka as Misaka asks, tilting her head, wondering if it's the proverbial (Did you get that monthly thing?) when the older sister looks indecisive when choosing a treat for herself."

.

Railgun got confused. "W- what are you talking about?? N- nothing like that. Just so you know, I was just thinking." She played a sigh. "Well, girl, what was on your mind? Actually, how did you get here... Oh... never mind, anyway..."

"Hmm, hmm. So it's about certain female insecurities. Misaka as Misaka, thinking with a question on her mind..." She didn't have time to continue because her mouth was covered by palm of an older brunette.

.

"Okay, you won, so what do you want?" Mikoto's gave up, willing to accepting that she will pay for Last-Order drink as well, ignoring that they got it for free. While she was filling her order, which consisted of more than one drink, which included a can of cheap coffee, she decided to interview her mini version to learn something from her. "Hey, listen-- Since yesterday, the city's security has been really tight as if there was some kind of attack going on that everyone is trying to hide as much as possible. Coincidentally, none of this reached me. So when you claim to act like you know everything, could you really initiate me into this mess?"

"Ah, so Onee-sama has taken on the role of a movie detective in a story, where everyone around her knows more than she does. Misaka as Misaka nods, declaring that she will give a full-fledged witness statement that will point the MC in the right direction." [Main Character]

.

Railgun immediately rolled her eyes around.

"First, Misaka as a witness must point out that it's really funny, that Onee-sama really has no idea what she's walked into, on this big day of hers. Everyone was probably put off by the sparkling impatience that big sister is famous for if she knew the details." As expected, her comment was just the right spark to make someone angry. However, Mini Misaka continued without the slightest concern. "Since the night before yesterday, Onee-sama was acting suspiciously, so a certain sister asked the MISAKA network for help. The next day, because it matched goals on our side, the team which included this Misaka, headed to the Tokiwadai Boarding School. The purpose was an independent investigation, because according to certain words, something was very strange even for a pretense. We barely got near the facility and started our patrol when the first serious incident happened and Misaka was been attacked."

.

"What?!"

Ignoring the big sister strong reaction, Last-Oder was calmly telling her story, like it was a big plot deal in detective movie. "The attacker was a certain young lady from Tokiwadai who suddenly appeared in front of Misaka, as if she materialized out of thin air. This lady grabbed this Misaka by the shoulders, while having a very hungry look on her face, as if she wanted to eat Misaka. It was so sudden. Misaka was very, very startled, because the attacker was showing symptoms of insanity. With saliva flowing from her mouth, that lady babbled something about kidnapping the shrunken sissy/ (older sister) and that she would (Take very good care of this sissy.)"

.

"Wait a minute! Don't tell me that person was Kuroko?!"

"Correct deduction, Detective Junior Onee-sama. The aforementioned Kuroko Shirai finally backed from her unworthy purpose and delusional notions, the moment when she looked at Misaka's companion who stood up for Misaka. The culprit lady suddenly had an expression as if she had very serious indigestion, but she finally recovered from her delusional state. After a short interview from Misaka's companion, this lady admitted that she had mistaken Misaka for a different person and gained an understanding of our intention. As an excuse, she let us in behind the scenes. Obviously she had a side-side intention to our agreement, other that helping with the show. It turned out, that teleportation has a terrifying potential to infiltrate the Tokiwadai party for an independent investigation."

.

Hearing this make Railgun questioning if is worth to even bother. "Any way you look at it, this kind of circumvention of procedures is like one massive hole in the whole security. What would make Kuroko so blatantly ignore regulations?"

"Hmm? Misaka doesn't know what Onee-sama means by that, but if it helps her investigation; Misaka can recite to the older sister what was said verbatim/literally to the guilty party. Misaka as Misaka apologizes in advance for words inappropriate for a young lady ears." She cleared her throat. "(Hey, pooch!-- [dirty puppy] I'm looking for whoever's really responsible for this scumbag of shits, that was spread across the city. I'm not interested in scapegoats, so save your boring barking/talks about guarding the toaster. I am not interested in her of whose turf this is. Rather sniff around and find me someone who deserves an exemplary reward for his daring shitty efforts, that I will deliver by myself.)"

.

Mikoto was speechless. (("What? Are you kidding me?! Who could say something like that to her face and not get a kick for it?")) But in a second she remembered #1's face. Only now did she realize that he had a perfect view of the audience from the judge's seat. Her face turned dewy as connected pieces of puzzle clicked together. "Hey, hey! Since when does a dire wolf substitutes for a sheepdog to protect a herd of unsuspecting sheep?" The brunette could not understand what could have led her roommate to cooperate with this white-haired destroyer. (("What was Kuroko up to?!"))

"Oh, but if Onee-sama is still looking for the person she's interested in, he's on the main island in the care of a certain long-haired blonde with unfair gear in a swimsuit. Misaka as Misaka will take on the role of navigator and lead the lost older sister to the surface, since looks like she's lost down here."

.

Yet big sister personality show in full. "Are you sure it's not the other way around?"

"Misaka is absolutely certain that it's Onee-sama who got lost down here, Misaka as Misaka adds, puffing out her cheeks."

.

.

And so, by one ascent to the surface later. During which the allegedly lost Miss Mikoto made only a few minor adjustments to the course of the intrepid/fearless Miss Navigator.

.

.

The pair of brunettes arrived at the spot on the surface of the main island just as a certain honey haired blonde was trying too hard to get close to a certain black haired boy with spiky hair. He clearly was on alert toward her flirting, clearly misunderstanding her intentions for tricks, or don't get it at all.

.

Railgun immediately began to shoot around irritated sparks as she rolled towards them, determined to spank someone. But the moment Touma noticed her, he turned pale and kick the ground sprinting away from her, with the words: "Sorry, I suddenly remembered that I have something else to arrange!"

Before Railgun could continue her pursuit, Mental Out stood in her way with an angry expression, spreading her arms to sides. "Hey, you walking coil of high voltage, how dare you to scare him away?! I was doing a thing here! With the expression you're wearing right now, anyone would run away from you. Is yours bonding ability really so bad?"

.

"What?!" The brunette stopped and considered for a moment what the blonde just said. "So,-- you just admitted that you don't have what it takes to run away." They looked at each other in silence for a moment before the brunette sighed. "Fine. I assume you at least learned everything we need to know about the background incident for which we putting a public face on here to prevent mass panic. I am right?"

It struck the blonde as if it had dawned on her, making expression: (Ah, so this is what I should have done.) She tried to play off her neglect of their shared goal with a cute grimace, but the drops of sweat on her cheek revealed, that she was aware, that her colleague could see right through her pretense.

.

Mikoto scolded her schoolmate with folded hands. "Unreal. You've really just been slacking around since yesterday? I can't believe you're being so irresponsible."

Yet Misaki was standing her ground. "Excuse me! Apart from the fact that I almost died that day. I was forcibly dragged all around the place. What's more, they constantly kept forcing me to participate in tasks, or to do something. I was so busy, that I had hardly time for myself. Can you imagine how tiring it was?"

.

But a strict glare was the only thing Railgun give to Mental-Out. "The only thing I've seen you do: is sit, eat, talk and walk when someone was leading you by a hand, so you wouldn't get lost somewhere."

"I mean, I was kept at short leach the whole time. Even my phone was out of my reach. So I couldn't find out what was going on in the slightest."

.

Mikoto was getting sick of listening to blonde laments. "Oh. Never mind. Can you at least tell me something that will help us? For example, your participation in the festivities? What was your reason for getting involved? For a change, you wanted to pretend for a moment that you were useful, but you immediately lost any control as all got out of hand?"

"Do you really think I would voluntarily participate in something so tiring? I'm no Olympic athlete like you. After all, I already told you that I was abducted while I was sleeping right out of bed."

.

"I feel like I am talking to a Koala bear. Wasn't it like they couldn't wake you up no matter how hard they tried? So they assumed you were sulking out of sheer laziness."

This hit Shokuhou under her skin, so she puff her cheeks. "H- how dare you!!"

.

Yet Misaka point out a fact. "Then tell me!: How you got into your uniform on Saturday morning?"

"Eh?" The blonde thought about it so seriously that she tilted her head with a surprised expression.

.

"Are you tilting your head?..." The brunette sighed, but then gave Mental Out a look full of genuine concern. "Just don't tell me, you're so heavy sleeper, that you won't wake up even if someone moves your body."

"That would be enough! Do you want to know what exactly happened? Then, give me a moment!" The blonde energetically massaged her temples with her index fingers, almost as if she was trying to use a some form of ancient medicine on herself to help her remember. "Already on Friday, they tried very hard to encourage me to participate in the festivities, but I refused them straight away. I started Saturday, as always, with a long nap. I had my phone on silent mode, so he couldn't wake me up. However..." A disgruntled expression settled on her face an expression like putting pieces of a puzzle together. "I currently have someone as a roommate who would easily notice, that someone trying to call me. I didn't confide in any of them about my refusal to participate. So~o... If she pick up the phone, management had to jump at the opportunity and to somehow persuade this smiling face to participate, even if she had to deliver me quietly. If Ghost chan also joined in, then my other roommate didn't even have to keep me asleep to achieve it. How they dared?! To abuse my morning low blood pressure like this? Now it's clear to me, how I got to that chair, behind the table, next to those two." She lowered her head in defeat and sighed tiredly. "It's for cases like this that I'm afraid to have any roommates." She sighed. "I really didn't want to leave the room that morning. Maybe later, to watch you embarrass yourself. Yet my roommates want a fun."

.

"Hey! I don't know what's more problematic: The fact that someone was able to control and manipulate the biggest manipulator in town, or your mentions of almost imaginary roommates that you don't manipulate non stop 24/7 for some mysterious reasons."

Blonde found the topic somehow unpleasant and, still with her head down, she tried to turn her face away. At the same time, she had a very awkward smile. "What if I tell you?-- that the first thing I remember from today, is how I was woken up in the locker room of this park?"

.

"One more time: Are you okay? I'm starting to worry about you and I don't like that."

Confused Misaki arise her head to look at Mikoto, as if she was out of words.

But it was Last Order who spoke up. "Until..." The brown-haired little one, who had been standing there quietly with them until now, had a horrified, downright bluish expression, perhaps for the first time they had seen her, as if she remembered something scary. "If you're asking about Misaka's locker room story, she has one that she's seriously worried about. Namely, this Misaka wanted to repair her reputation by running into the boys' locker room as a proper support character before an important performance. However, what Misaka saw didn't match the imagine she had at all. So, she retreated out tactically." Little girl shook her body with chills. "The wolf's lair is too scary a place to be, Misaka as Misaka explains horrified."

.

Both older girls gave her wide-eyed glances, wondering what the little talkative girl was up to. However, neither of them was tactless enough to ask her out loud.

This state didn't last long as Last-Order slapped her cheeks to get out of that gloomy mood. A second or two later, she was in her cheerful self, pulling something out of the shopping bag slung over her shoulder. "Hey, hey, miss bee-- Misaka would like to ask you a favor while she has a very pleading expression."

Crumbs expression was so warm that the blonde smiled tenderly at the mutilation of her family name. "Oh, of course. What should it be?" She asked sweetly, but it was clearly visible on her face that she already had some kind of idea.

.

"Misaka is on an important mission to find a true honey that she needs as medicine to help a very important person for her. From her long shopping list, this is the last item she is missing."

The honey blonde giggled, conveniently as a laddie. "Ara, ara... Do you have any idea where it could be obtained? If not, we can go ask someone from the staff to help us with your expedition."

.

"That won't be necessary, Misaka shaking her head. Misaka has opted for the highest quality directly from the richest source." The little one pointed a finger at the honey-haired lady's overgrown chest.

Shokuhou firmly maintained her stony smile as she stood there without a single movement or reaction in front of mini Misaka. She then directed her gaze at the original brunette.

One can imagine that the meat brain was actually believed that theory about certain someone woman pride, that they are a honey sacks. But even if it was true for a single second, the moment Misaki glanced at Mikoto, Railgun immediately gestured to Shokuhou: (Just try what you have in mind and you won't miss the punishment!)

.

Instead, the little one held up something like a little bottle cup to place her order.

This was so innocently silly that Misaki had a problem to found a proper words. "Eh, my dear, how should I say it?-- It's a bit embarrassing, but-- you came in the off season."

.

The little girl tiled her head. "What is the bee talking about? She spreading the honey like scent right now. Even her storage's looks like the honey has ripened and it would be convenient to start collecting it soon. Misaka as Misaka notes enviously, but with understanding."

One could tell from Shokuhou Misaki expression, how much she wanted to prank the little one, but that would mean letting go of the imaginary bridle/leach binding the hunting instincts of a certain beast. Who stares at blonde like a lurking lioness at a gazelle. The dew on Number-Five face was beginning to be visible as her personality fought with the instinct of self-preservation. So Mental-out starts to negotiate. "Darling, please, try to understand that you just can't get that desired honey from me."

.

Yet the small girl start to think aloud. "So, this is the proverbial one, she's making herself unapproachable. Hmm, hmm, Misaka mutters omnisciently. The bee is trying to act like an unflinching merchant who don't sell under the price, isn't she? No worries! Misaka, being a proper support character, is ready to negotiate. As a subject for market negotiation, Misaka brought something she knows that without it, miss bee does not feel comfortable in her own skin." She took out the obviously spare TV remote control from her shopping bag. She snorted sharply when she noticed how Shokuhou's eyes widened as she started to wave with that item. "For some reason, someone decided to hide all these home accessories. However, this Misaka used her wits and got hold on one. However..." She saddened her mood, looking almost guilty. "Misaka as Misaka needs to apologizen because this controller won't switch channels because it's missing batteries. Misaka will fight back a tear unless it's enough to negotiate." She put a finger to her closed eyes as if to wipe away an imaginary tear.

But the blonde suddenly had too much energy. Crumb's comment hit the right chord, so to speak, and she dropped her whole pretense, exploding/exclaiming loudly, "Enough with the jokes about me being out of flashlights!!! [batteries] My ability don't work in that way!!!" She grabbed the remote from Last-Oder hand. "I don't need any flashlights to give commands!! I need that controller as a tool that mentally helps me to better control my powers.Because I serialize the over-complex usage of my powers into a series of macro's. Which are a dense sequence of commands, subtle operations that need to be performed in order to achieve a desired effect. A macro is like a cooking recipe that can be used over and over again without the cook having to re-invent the entire recipe again and again to achieve the desired dessert. In my case, the operations are so delicate, that doing them without a recipe is too dangerous. Of course I can brute force my way, butso many things can go wrong if I stop to be careful. Its not a magic hand, its a safety measure. But for someone to understand how amazingly complex my ability is, that's over normal human possibilities." She was blowing off steam with bulging cheeks.

Mikoto on the other hand, thought the whole theory over again.

.

The little one was happy and full of anticipation, so she reached towards Mental Out with the aforementioned container. "So we have a deal. Aren't we?"

But on blonde's forehead a blood vein boiled up. "Enough! I see that I need to do more to reach you out. Words would take a long time, and I'm not in the mood for it. So don't let the muscle head get zappy when I do just this!" She aimed the controller at Mini Misaka and pressed a key saying a (password?) in a whisper voice.

The older brunette immediately jump at her schoolmate, grabbing her by the shoulder. "Shokuhou!! What does that mean?!! You seriously can't solve anything without Mental Out?!!"

.

Shokuhou barked back. "Chill out Onee-sama and leave me alone!!" She literally slapped Railgun's hand, to get free. (With no effect.) "You should thank me rather. I simply shared with her everything I know about honey. Including its use. Or do you expect from me, to explain it to her in a semi-pathetic way, when I know what a problem it is, to explain anything to you?"

Of course, brunette didn't believe her in the slightest, but before she could take a deep breath to tell her…

...the little one spoke again. "Honey come out from their buts?" She widened her eyes in cultural shock or amazement at the realization, not believing it. "Who would eat something that came out of someone's butt?! But hone~ey..." She began to panic, alternating expressions of bliss and horror. "It's so delicious though-- but, but, bottoms!!--" When she was in disarray her attention shifted on Misaki waist. No, she tilted her body, lean on side, as if to glance from where she was at Shokuhou but. Of course Mental-out notice that intention and admonished the girl with (Oi!). [Hey!] That make the crumb to shout: "Aaaaaah!!-- Misaka fells cheated in more ways than one!!" Last-Oder was starting to act out. "Misaka has to file a complaint about the fake bee misleading about the promise of honey."

.

Blonde spoke up to the little girl to clarify something. "The fact, that someone has a bee in their name, does not mean that they are an actual bee and that they can make honey. You also have a reference to the name of a certain Japanese emperor in your name, but you are not that emperor!"

On split of second, mini Misaka seems to look insulted, then she point her pointing finger once again at busty girl. "Then why does a fake bee have those two envy-inducing orbs in front of her, if there's no honey inside them? What excuse does she use for having them? Misaka as Misaka demands an answer as she angrily stomps on the ground."

.

When asked, for what purpose she have them, she immediately blushed as a certain thought about certain gentleman came to her mind. That question struck so deeply that even her completely blushed expression of an embarrassed inexperienced lady revealed that she had lost this discussion. "F- fine, as long as you insist..." Shaking her hand as if she having cold, she barely aimed at the girl the controller and pressed a key.

Crumb aggressiveness automatically dropped to zero, as if she was a robot that someone unexpectedly turned off.

Mikoto immediately snapped at blonde, grabbing her tightly by the other shoulder as well, now having her in her arms. "Shokuhou, I can't believe my eyes!! How dare you brainwash her!? On one side of coin, you asking me to trust you. On the other, you act like brainwashing addict." She was about to zap her with electricity, when the little one spoke again.

She seems to be more robotic compare to the happy child she was to this point. "No worries, Onee-sama. On Misaka, (two zero zero zero one), there have been no modifications to the kernel files, representing the modification of the installed software or the creation of backdoors. Misaka as administrator declares the network safe, while analyzing and sorting the evidence from both wall penetrations, with the backup." She smiled at the two, but it feels creepy. "However, on the other hand, it's surprising that the fake bee has such childish ideas about using her main advantage. Especially when the difference in equipment is so huge. If Misaka were to make a guess as to why this is so, she would say that it is the result of the fact; that until now, the fake bee did not have to think about making the best usage of what little she has, when this pair is actually more than she can handle. Finally, we need to look at the original issue from a higher perspective and consider whether this childishness is not a characteristic of Level-5, as a payment for this level, since Onee-sama herself also possesses this trait. Misaka as Misaka has to sigh, because being the wise older sister is difficult at times." And so Last-Order sighed while both high school girls had dumb dark expressions on their faces.

.

Shokuhou was the first to speak with a dark smile. "I'm going to make you, to give me a royal apology. Since my memories proved to be too much for you, I decided to take them back."

Mikoto was already hot wire again, but the little one stopped her big sister verbally.

"No worries Onee-sama. Just let her try. Misaka as Misaka supporting a fake bee with fake unfair advantages intention, to break into the security system, because she's close to solving a certain problem."

.

Misaki pressed the key without the slightest hesitation.

But this time the little one's reaction was different from the previous two cases. Crumb started sounding like the broken radio they used to report him the day before. She was babbling in a nonsensical semi-mechanical voice as if she were some kind of android that had a short circuit while her head was jerking in all directions.

.

The two girls on the fifth level watched the events before them in horror.

Last Oder looked like there was already going to be that turning point when it would crack and she would collapse, or maybe something worse. But instead, they got a mechanical, emotionless response, as if a security door panel/gatekeeper spoke to them. "Unauthorized operation, by unspecified malware... Potentially dangerous task in isolation... Admin verdict: 'Access Denied!'"

.

Both girls didn't understand what was going on in the slightest. What a complicated game the little girl is playing. The blonde, if nothing else, aimed and pressed the key on the TV remote again.

This time the short-circuit reaction lasted less than two seconds and the radio was already talking to them. "Unauthorized Operation-- Potentially Dangerous Task Neutralized-- 'Access Denied!'"

.

The finger hit the key again.

The answer was only a stern sentence. "Access Denied!"

.

...and again...

"Access Denied!"

.

When it was repeated again, a certain short match Tsundere's eyebrows twitched. "That would be enough!!" She snatched the TV remote from blonde hand, which groaned painfully under her grip, until it seemed that the brunette wanted to crush it in her palm.

Of course Mental Out seethed with displeasure over the taken toy like a small child and tried to reach for it. But it was enough for the kidnapper to extend his hand in the opposite direction to get the remote out of the reach of blonde demanding hands. Yet the girls got so close that a different battle of certain body parts began and blonde had a clear advantage in that. It got intensive to point that the brunette used her strength to push against Misaki shoulder to pin her in place.

On the other hand, the little one continued his mechanical, emotionless monologue. "Searching... Not found... No further unauthorized operations detected... Suspending developer mode… MISAKA Network, hereby thanks you for your participation in the development/development of a security solution for connection with atypical malware." Still in this state, she bowed deeply.

.

Although Mikoto more or less understood what her Mini version wanted to say...

Misaki, on the other hand, refused to accept this outcome. "Are you kidding me?!! Regardless of the comparisons used, my ability does not fall into the electronics or even software industry. Not even by a mistake. Don't you dare to tell me, that one personal reality has been overwritten by another personal reality! Something along the lines of you simply butted heads together with the other sisters and overcame my Superpower of Mental Out, with raw monstrous computing power!"

After that outburst from blonde, Last-Order was back to being herself. She smiled very warmly at the angry Shokuhou with a big big smile.

.

The blonde got worried and let the little girl from her eyes for a moment.

For that or not, mini Misaka immediately began to flee. "With the market changing episode over, Misaka as Misaka leaves the market scene saying that she's going somewhere else to look for that honey. She strongly advises the fake bee, to not be chased by her!"

.

As soon as the blonde was aware of the escape, she called after the crumb. "Even if I have a bee in my name that don't match your ideas about bees, that doesn't mean you can rename me as you like! You can't change my name and nickname so you know!" At this moment, she was only playing off her offense and even waved after the little girl a goodbye as if she had enjoyed the meeting. But she quickly changed into the role of a Tokiwadai lass when she noticed the inquisitive look from the other brunette. "What is it?!"

"Did you learn anything that would help us?"

.

"Just that my body is the ideal of many girls." She took a proud pose in which her curves stood out. "But seriously now. Please give me back the remote!" And she reach out her open palm in (Give it to me!) gesture.

Railgun's answers was strict. "Yeah no! Forget it, you full-fat/whole milk!"

.

Yet honey-blonde (for now), ignored that comment. "Maybe you'll change your mind when you see that." She pointed in the distance to a certain red-haired priest in black robes, who was passing by without noticing the pair.

Mikoto paid a special attention that the priest had not been in swimsuit. "That remains to be seen." Her expression hardened as she took the blonde's hand so that together they took a hasty walk pursuing that passing gentleman, to ask him a few questions.

-The English term malware was created by combining the words "malicious" and "software", which in translation mean malicious software. This term covers all forms of malicious code, regardless of how it affects victims, how it behaves, or what damage it causes. [Wiki]

-As one of her personal rules Misaki divided up her esper ability in preset "categories" to make it easier to use These "categories" are often used for specifics applications or simple commands. Likely to better concentrate and control her powers, Misaki speaks the word "Category" followed by a number and then its corresponding application when using one. Seemingly, a "category" can have more than one corresponding application and targets and conditions can be slightly modified at the moment. [Wiki]

-Last-Order was meant as a safety means to prevent rebellion on sisters and also to prevent hacking. Yet she is an access console to the network, command tower that influence other consoles [sisters] whatever she intent it or not, and at same time a weak point of the entire Misaka network. Command tower influence is so strong that it partially work even on partially connected subjects like Misaka Worst.
