Dimensional Chat Group: Speed-o'-Light

Chapter 204: 204: Returning

That kind of speed far beyond human limits, that terrifying power capable of moving mountains and filling seas—it all went beyond her comprehension.

Even thinking back on it later brought a faint sense of despair. If it hadn't been for Kizaru, Tatsumaki had no idea how Earth would've survived the crisis.

Even Blast, who once saved her and her sister, probably wouldn't have been a match for Boros.

"By the way, aside from that, a new member was added to the S-Class… Sweet Mask has officially been promoted to an S-Class hero."

Fubuki couldn't help but find it a little unbelievable herself. That guy clearly had the strength of an S-Class hero but had always refused promotion—until now, for some reason, he finally changed his mind.

"Who's that?"

Kizaru paused for a second, unable to remember who Fubuki was referring to. The name Sweet Mask sounded vaguely familiar though—like he'd heard it somewhere before.

"Oh, that showboating guy…"

Tatsumaki showed a disdainful expression. She didn't exactly respect the S-Class heroes recognized by the Hero Association either, but determining who was qualified to be S-Class wasn't something a mere A-Class lackey should be doing.

Someone truly powerful like Kizaru got directly placed into S-Class Rank 9. Who was Sweet Mask to criticize that?

"When the training camp opened on the first day, the one who caused a scene was Sweet Mask."

Fubuki reminded him. Ever since getting his ass kicked by Kizaru, Sweet Mask had vanished for quite a while. He only recently reappeared, applying to the Hero Association for a promotion to S-Class.

Even without considering his celebrity status, based purely on his past achievements and real strength, he was fully qualified for S-Class.

So it wasn't long before Sweet Mask was appointed Rank 18 in S-Class. His hero alias didn't change, but it was said that he turned down continuing his career as a pop idol—seemingly intending to focus fully on being a pro hero.

"I kinda remember now… whatever, just another irrelevant guy."

Kizaru said indifferently. As far as he was concerned now, you'd need at least Shichibukai-level strength—equivalent to a top-ranked S-Class hero—for him to take you even halfway seriously.

Or maybe be someone like Child Emperor or Drive Knight, who used tech and didn't have an annoying attitude.

At the very least, someone like Genos—an obedient "tool guy"—was worth remembering.

As for Sweet Mask? Kizaru barely even remembered he existed.

Anything beyond that—personality, abilities… sorry, who were you talking about again?

"Oh, and your bonus was deposited into the Blizzard Group's bank account. Do you want to open a new account or what?"

Fubuki rubbed her forehead in mild exasperation. When Kizaru registered to become a hero, he couldn't be bothered to go to the bank, so he just used the Blizzard Group's account.

At the time, she never expected his bonuses would be this massive. Seeing all those extra zeroes compared to her own balance, Fubuki just wanted Kizaru to hurry up and take the money.

Otherwise, she couldn't promise she wouldn't be tempted to "borrow" a little if a new designer bag or luxury item hit the market.

Before this, the Blizzard Group's account basically functioned as Fubuki's personal wallet. She could spend however she wanted, since most of the money in there was deposited by her anyway.

But now that Kizaru's earnings were part of it, things suddenly got… complicated.

"Just leave it… mm, you and Tatsumaki can use it as pocket money. If it runs out, just come ask me for more."

Kizaru replied casually. He never minded spending on women or "toys"—though in his case, "toys" meant ancient weapons.

Of course, Kizaru always kept public and private funds separate. Before he made up his mind to overthrow the World Government, he was the kind of guy who'd spend billions of Berries sending his subordinates to have fun in Pleasure Town—but wouldn't spare 50,000 Berries to buy them a sword.

Only after deciding to become Fleet Admiral did Kizaru start considering things like upgrading the Marines' gear. Before that, all he ever thought about was falsifying expenses to embezzle money from the World Government.

If Tony Stark had revealed his weapons catalog back then, Kizaru might've actually teamed up with him—two scoundrels squeezing every last coin out of the government's treasury.

"Tch. I don't need it… Fubuki, give me a card later."

Tatsumaki turned her head away with a tsundere huff, and only when Kizaru wasn't paying attention did she quietly ask Fubuki for one of the cards.

With her hero rank and track record, there was no way she'd be short on money—but since it was Kizaru's cash, even if she didn't plan to spend it, she had to get her share.

"Hey, what are you guys chatting about?"

Carrying a large leather suitcase, Tony Stark walked over and greeted Kizaru and the Blizzard Sisters, Tatsumaki and Fubuki.

Although most of the data had already been copied by JARVIS, there were still some files Stark deemed too sensitive for digital transfer. He opted to bring them in paper form.

It wasn't that he didn't trust JARVIS, but rather that physical documents had their own irreplaceable value. The contents of these papers were things Tony Stark believed must never be leaked—so he chose the most old-school way to handle them.

"We were just talking about the Hero Association. Interested in registering as a professional hero yourself?"

Kizaru asked with a bit of mischief in his tone. After all, Iron Man was already a superhero—what's the harm in becoming a professional hero too?

If all went smoothly, maybe Kizaru could rope in the other members of their dimensional group chat to join the One Punch Man world and register as heroes as well.

"Hmm, fighting for justice and saving civilians in another world, huh? Not a bad idea. Too bad I've got zero time for that…"

Tony Stark chuckled and shook his head bitterly. As the head of Stark Industries, he already had his hands full managing the company, developing new Iron Man suits, and fulfilling his duties as Iron Man.

And now, thanks to Kizaru, he had a mountain of advanced tech to study. Even though he'd made up his mind not to integrate it into his suits or body, he still had to understand it to help out other group members.

Not to mention his time spent flirting and playing the role of a playboy. At this point, Tony was desperately hoping the new group chat member, Miss Hermione from the magical world, would bring good news about a Time-Turner soon.

"Well, if you ever change your mind, let me know."

Kizaru didn't care much either way. With his personality, impulsive ideas like this came by the dozen.

If he tried to follow through on every one of them, even ten of him wouldn't be enough.

"Everything's packed up on my end. I'm heading back—don't forget to come find me when it's time to throw a party… and don't forget my dinosaurs!"

Tony patted his Iron Man suit and returned to the Marvel world. Although he didn't plan on using Dr. Bofoi's tech, the glimpse alone had already sparked countless ideas in his genius mind, waiting to be brought to life.

The difference between a genius and an ordinary scientist was this: geniuses constantly had endless ideas—and could actually pull them off. Normal scientists might occasionally get a flash of inspiration, but executing it took time, effort, and might still fall short of what a genius could casually accomplish.

"Well, I'm leaving too. Don't forget to pick up the alien and his spaceship ASAP. If Earth disappears one day, I'm sending the bill to you!"

Ai Haibara, equally satisfied with her trip, was ready to leave as well. Besides the pile of tech left behind by Dr. Bofoi, she and Fubuki had also exchanged a bunch of brand-name handbags.

Of course, they only swapped bags that were still on the market. The limited editions? Both girls were sly enough not to offer those up.

"Don't worry. Once I'm back, I'll bring Boros and his gang over right away."

Kizaru smiled. He was planning to give the World Government and the Five Elders the surprise of their lives—delivered straight from the stars.

After all, space pirates were still pirates. And if they were pirates, then there was nothing wrong with wanting to become the Pirate King.

Once crowned Pirate King, causing trouble for the World Government seemed only natural.

Then would come his cue to appear—Fleet Admiral Kizaru, stepping in dramatically to defeat the cosmic Pirate King and save the world!

Of course, before all that, Kizaru hoped Boros and his crew would completely wreck the World Government and the Five Elders—maybe even reduce the Celestial Dragons to nothing more than dust. And if Im got taken down along the way, even better.

No—maybe better to let Boros destroy Im and the World Government.

As for the Celestial Dragons? Kizaru had a different plan: an auction. He wanted them to experience what it felt like to be the ones getting sold off.

He was sure a certain Golden Emperor would gladly pay an outrageous sum to "buy" all the Celestial Dragons—just to play nice with them.

"Kizaru-nii, Tatsumaki-nee, Fubuki-nee, I'm heading out too…"

Little sister Xiao Mei also came over to say goodbye a bit sheepishly. After all, both Tony Stark and Ai Haibara had shown up to help, bringing along piles of technical documents to benefit the members of the chat group.

She, on the other hand, hadn't contributed anything the whole time—just ate a ton of delicious food like she was on vacation.
