Deva Wizard: The Great Xian in King Arthur's Realm

The big-arms golden giant rushed to Merlin with an immense amount of pressure.

“This power is too dreadful. I’m not going to be able to dodge it.”

Realizing he would not be able to escape, Merlin quickly sealed Xian vital essence all over his body. He thought that at least the Xian energy would help reduce the damage from the attack.

BAAMN!!!

As expected, even though Merlin had covered his body with Xian essence, with the strength of that big-arms golden giant’s punch, he flew up like a kite with a torn-up thread.

Merlin was thrown a hundred meters away.

He tried to balance, forcing both legs on the ground to resist the power of the punch until it stopped. Then he realized that he would not be able to handle this situation this way. Shortly, he would be the only one getting attacked; then he would die here.

The small one clenched his hand; he sealed Xian essence at his fist. Suddenly, his right fist slowly had blue light shining out. His tiny feet slightly adjusted their positions. With that, the boy kicked himself forward and moved swiftly.

ARRRRRGGGGH!

Merlin’s body dashed out like an arrow from a bow; the blue light from his fist glowed, creating a bright line. He charged at the big-arms giant quickly and powerfully.

Zooooom!

Merlin’s powerful fist was thrown with all his strength; Flashes appeared.

However, an unexpected incident happened when that powerful attack was well and easily defended by that giant, even worse, with only one hand.

It was too strong.

Level five of the Qi accumulation could do the giant no harm. And when he realized that it was too late. That creature looked pleased and smiled hideously.

All of a sudden, Merlin’s body was trapped when its other hand clapped in.

BANG!!

It was an unbelievably fast move. In the blink of an eye, Merlin’s body was caught and locked in the creature’s hands.

Merlin tried to move but it was beyond his capability. Under those hands, he could not make a single move. And again, swiftly, those enormous hands moved down to grab hold of his legs.

The tiny figure was violently slammed on the floor by its strong, big hands. Plus, it threw Merlin’s body to the front like a plaything.

Whoosh!

The small one flew away fiercely with speed. It went as far as hundreds of meters

But that was not over yet when the direction he was thrown to was where another golden giant was standing. It looked at Merlin flying close arrogantly and scornfully.

Even though that golden giant had a similar body to a human, its head was that of a bird. Worse, there was a sharp sword hanging on its side.

The attack earlier threw Merlin into confusion. That was why he was now unable to control his body and change direction.

Just then, the curious creature did something unimaginable: it raised one hand to the front and then softly snapped.

BONG! An invisible energy wave emerged.

BANG!

Merlin’s body completely took the impact of that wave.

If he had not sealed his body with Xian essence, perhaps he would not still be alive now. These creatures were such strong, mighty figures.

Merlin’s body was knocked by that energy wave back in the same direction again.

Thud! Thud!

Because of that, his body was carried to the big-arms golden giant’s feet. Once again.

“It was intentional to send me back to its fellow.” Merlin clenched his teeth, resentfully.

With his condition now, Merlin was as good as dead. These creatures were too strong; they were just playing with him. These were not even their true powers. If they were to give all they had, he would be dead after just one attack.

Merlin looked up and stared at the big-arms’ face. It was giving him an obnoxious smile. Apparently, it seemed pleased with the toy.

“Or...I am going to die here...” Merlin’s eyes were full of sadness.

The giant’s big arms were raised up in the air again. This time it looked like they were determined to finish him. Right now, the boy was not different from an ant or a termite that they could kill whenever they wanted.

Colossal arms slammed down violently.

“I am not going to die this way!” Merlin thought then a strong determination was shown in his eyes!

He used the moment when the big-arms was gloating to utilize Moon Spring levitation and disappear from the scene in the blink of an eye.

Whoosh!

In a split second, the boy’s body disappeared before the punch arrived.

Bam!

The giant’s attack was super brutal. However, the boy was no longer there but on the big-arms’ back as if he had become invisible for a moment.

Merlin used his left arm to hold onto its neck. Then he intensively sealed Xian essence on his right hand; the blue light shined out.

A series of punches filled with Xian energy were wildly fired at the giant’s head. His attack caused an extremely loud noise as if the Earth was quaking.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Alas…

“Sard! It is not affected at all!”

Merlin’s face was all twisted like he had just swallowed a bitter pill because his attack could not do the big-arms any harm.

In addition, it challenged him by just standing there letting him attack until he was almost completely worn-out.

It was such an arrogant creature. Everything it did was full of disdain.

Merlin felt so much anguish in him.

As fast as a thought emerging, suddenly its big hand appeared just behind Merlin. It moved with speed, so quickly that Merlin could not defend himself.

That hand grabbed Merlin’s body and threw him into the air.

The big-arms used its other hand to charge a punch then threw it at Merlin’s stomach promptly.

BOFF!

That punch was forceful; it was charged with intense speed and violence.

Although Merlin’s body was wrapped in Xian essence, it could not stop the pain that was crawling on him.

Bang!

His tiny body was thrown at the monolith by that powerful punch.

Fortunately, Merlin was still conscious although he was barbarically attacked. The injuries did not wear him out completely.

Finding a chance, Merlin grabbed a hold of the monolith to stop his body from falling down.

“Vicious… level five of Qi accumulation is not enough to stop them.”

Before the next attack came, he had to find another way to survive.

Looking at the bottom of the monolith, he found that hundreds of golden giants were looking at him, and further, ten thousand rock giants were waiting to chase him down.

At his escape did not lie below, there was only the above left.

It was unfortunate that he had not achieved the stem-building stage yet. Because if he had, he would be able to walk in the air and run away. So now, the only thing he could do was climb onto the top of this ancient monolith.

Merlin started climbing immediately. And in that while, he took a peek at the scene below.

Glaring down, Merlin found that the golden giants changed their behaviors. As soon as he started climbing to the monolith’s top, they obviously seemed concerned.

“There must be something up there.”

Therefore, Merlin speeded up his climb instantly. He used the levitation art to quickly leap up to the top of the monolith. And it seemed that he was right. As soon as he boosted up, the golden giants could not stay still anymore.

Suddenly, those golden giants began to scream and cry appallingly.

Wooo… Wooo... Wooo….

Their cries were aggressive and tainted with powerful magical pressure. They started to direct tons of destructive beams at him.

Pew… Pew… Pew…

Bang…! Bang…! Bang…!

Luckily, Merlin had an extraordinary levitation art; he could dodge those beams briskly. However, he almost made wrong steps sometimes. These beams were not to be underestimated.

Colorful beams were attacking him ferociously. Merlin speeded up almost doubly to reach the top as fast as possible.

Although he had no clue what lay up there, and whether it would help him survive, at that moment, it was his only hope.

The golden giants that were once frozen, now crazily started moving and getting closer.

“What is up there? Why are they all acting frantically like this?”

Finally, Merlin reached the top of the archaic monolith. It looked normal up here, nothing seemed special.

The only thing Merlin saw was a strange altar sticking out in the center of the monolith. And on it, there lay a curious-looking rock that seemed like a human's eye.

This rock was nothing special; it did not even have a magical aura. Its characteristic was just like a normal rock. Still, Merlin was very interested.

“Although it looks very simple, this thing must be magical. Because why else would they act so insanely?”

Merlin had no time to think since he was now being chased by tons of powerful creatures.

But, in a split second, as he was contemplating the rock, a lot of golden giants were now flying up in the air without him being aware of them.

“Holy sh…!”

In the short moment while he was thinking, there appeared powerful magical hoops in the sky in front of him.

Those creatures were attacking him!

The magical hoops’ mechanism merged them together; they rotated continually. When the system was complete, they shone out powerful, destructive beams.

Suddenly, those colorful beams charged at Merlin tumultuously.
