Daily Life with My Busty And Cute Girlfriend

Chapter 14: The Weight of her Absence

Leo woke up to the sound of a bag rustling, a sharp, irritating noise that pierced his ears in the morning quiet... He shot upright with caution, only to see Sarah, already dressed, packing her clothes into her bag...

"Babe," he called out to her, wiping his saliva from his mouth...

Sarah's eyes widened as soon as she saw him awake... "Babe, good morning," she said...

"Hmm," he responded, biting his lower lip. "I see you're all dressed up and ready."

She nodded, zipping up her bag. Her phone started vibrating on the bed... she bends over and picks it up "Hello, hello... Manager-kun, how have you been doing?"

"Ehh... I know... I'm coming out of my boyfriend's apartment, I'll soon be there... I understand..." Sarah nodded while answering the phone call. "Okay, bye-bye." She hung up...

Leo got out of his bed and then headed to the bathroom, minutes later... he then came right back out... His eyes widened as he saw Sarah waiting in front of the door for him. His stomach sank, his heart skipped a beat as he walked over to her...

"Ready?" he asked, feeling a bead of sweat. He swallowed.

Sarah rushed over and hugged him tightly, sniffing his clothes. She looked up while hugging him, her eyes becoming watery. "A part of me doesn't want to go... a part of me doesn't want to leave you."

Leo slowly pulled her back. "Come on, don't do that... I'm not a child, okay?" He kissed her on the lips. "I'll be fine... and besides, it's just a week... I can hold out for that much, okay?"

She nodded sweetly. "But remember to eat on time, okay? And also, I already made breakfast... so you can just microwave it... and..."

Leo cut her off with another kiss. "Come on, get going... You don't want to keep them waiting," he smiled.

Then she opened the door and slowly walked outside into the corridor, her eyes watery. Leo followed right after her...

She started walking towards the stairs, only to turn back and sprint to Leo again, then launched herself into another hug...

"Huh... what are you doing? You're really going to be late..." He tried to pull her back, but she held on, so he decided to let her relax a bit first...

A few minutes later, she finally let go.

"Babe, let's go, I'll walk you downstairs," he explained to her as he grabbed her hand and started leading her through the corridor...

They both went downstairs with their arms linked together...

When they got there, in front of them was a large tour bus parked outside their apartment complex. Slowly, the doors opened, and an elderly man in his late 40s came out of the tour bus, looking furious...

"Miss Sarah, where have you been?" he shouted at Sarah, in front of Leo...

"I'm sorry, it was my fault. I kept her occupied," Leo stepped into the conversation...

The elderly man looked at Leo, narrowing his eyes. "And who are you?"

Leo sighed. "I am her..." Before he could finish the sentence, "My husband!" Sarah shouted, squeezing her fist cutely...

"Huh?!" Both Leo and the elderly man responded at the same time.

"Miss Sarah, what do you mean... you're married?" The elderly man responded in shock to her statement...

"Baka!" Leo flicked her forehead. Then he properly greeted them. "My name is Leo Kuroko, and I am Sarah's boyfriend."

The elderly man sighed softly in relief.

Leo narrowed his eyes in suspicion. "But she is not entirely wrong for calling me her husband... because I do plan on marrying her and making her my wife."

"Ahhh!"

Leo turned quickly to the side, only to see Sarah playing with her hair while her face was bright red... But before Leo could say something, she cutely ran into the tour bus...

"Babe, be careful while running," he sighed heavily. Then he shook the elderly man's hand. "I didn't really get your name, sir..."

"John Makoto," the man responded, then turned back and got into the tour bus, which then drove off seconds later...

Leo stood there, staring at the tire marks on the ground... Then he turned around and started walking up his apartment complex stairs until he got to his room door...

He took a deep breath and then entered his apartment. The silence hit him. It was as if the room had lost its light and color as soon as Sarah left...

But he tried to shake off the feeling. He went over and turned on his PS5. Then he grabbed the controller and started playing...

After playing for what felt like hours, Leo finally got up. With a sudden burst of energy, he leapt onto his bed, his legs wagging playfully. He buried his nose into his bedsheets, sniffing the exact spot where Sarah had lain the night before... A soft sigh escaped his mouth, as if he could still smell her warmth, her presence lingering in the fabric... He already missed her in a way words couldn't explain...

She had always been close to him, in sickness and in health, so he didn't fully realize how much color and light she brought into his life until she was gone...

For the next few days, Leo was alone.

Saturday passed.

Sunday passed.

Ring, ring...

His phone alarm clock went off. He slowly exhaled and then picked it up, only to see that it was 10 AM Monday morning...

"Shit, I'm late for work."
