She said, for firing up a blowtorch in her left hand and an electrified whip in her right. She placed it close to his body and leaned towards his ear.

"Last chance. Become my knight"

She whispered, but Arc didn't respond. She drove the blowtorch straight in his abdomen

"AARRRGGHHHHHH"

She turned off the blowtorch and said in a sweet tone

"You should've just accepted my proposal. Tell me you'll be my knight and I'll stop"

"I.... will.... never..."

*WHIP WHIP WHIP WHIP.....

Before he could finish, she gave him multiple lashes at random, stopping once her hand got tired. As for how many lashes Arc received, I stopped counting after thirty.

"Sorry about that. I just can't handle being rejected again. Come on, just become mine"

She carried the torture employing each and every one of the torture devices at her disposal with the finesse of a pro. Her exceptional skill in torture made it obvious this wasn't her first time. Infact, to acquire that level of skill, she must've done it hundreds of times..... The warden herself was in awe at the how adept this princess was at inflicting excruciating pain.

"Quit being stubborn Arc, you'll die at this rate"

She put the weapons down, placed her palm on his chest and whispered to the delirious, half dead 12 year old boy.

"You see...the truth is.... I like you, Arc. It pains me to see you like this so just... accept my love. As my knight, you'll never want for anything, you'll have servants waiting on you at all times, it's a future of paradise waiting for you to seize it"

"*huff huff—.....A...my"

She dug her nails through his skin reflexively with fury

"I'm professing my love to you right now and you're thinking about another woman?! Unforgivable!"

She stopped and took a deep breath then smiled with a hint of darkness in her eyes. She brushed her fingers across his skin till she reached his trousers. She pulled it off with his undergarments as well as grabbed on tightly to his..... family jewels.

"I just have to show you why I am better. I will engrave myself in you and make you forget about that...girl"

She said, happily unbuttoning her shirt to show her black-laced lin**rie. She began pressing her h cups on his skin while touching him all over with one hand and juggling "a set of jewels" with the other.

After some minutes of futile resistance, something finally erected.

She ignored his plight and bent down a little, gently placing the hard thing into her cle**age. It sank right in as though it was absorbed by her huge chest.

She placed her hands on each of her sacks of meat and started rubbing them violently against what was inserted while drooling saliva as "lubricant" until—

"FUFUHAHAHA..... IT'S LIKE A FOUNTAIN, HAHAHA"

She was covered in white, her face smiling as she said.

"Alright.... let's go again"

She went on repeatedly without breaks, using everything at her disposal— hands, thighs, mouth, feet, etc for her torture right until Rose spoke.

"Princess, it's time for the prisoners to attend to their volunteer work"

"Sighhh... Already? Bummer"

She got up to look at Arc before leaving.

"I'll see you again soon, my knight"

Rose summoned two tier 21 water beasts to clean up the place then handed Arc a change of clothes.

"Get dressed and head to work, scum! And quit making that face! The princess will be taking three days off every week just to see you, you should be honored!"

Arc held back the impulse to argue that comment and instead cursed his powerlessness without his tier 9 beasts as he headed to the kitchen, dazed and scarred.

He met Rei at the entrance to the kitchen

"You're late!"

"Oh... Sorry"

He walked past him to enter the kitchen.

"Hey! Hold it!"

Rei retorted, grabbing on to him. Arc reflexively knocked his hand away as it instantly reminded him of his ordeal with Selene a little while ago. He realized what he did a second later and sank his head

"I'm... sorry"

"You'll only get in the way as you are now. Go get some rest, I'll handle your share"

"H-Huh?"

[Rei noticed your scars after touching you, she's trying to be considerate]

"Oh... thank you. I'll....do that"

He walked back to his cell dazed but snapped out of it once he arrived and saw

"S-Shuichi..... What happened... to your arm?"

Shu alone on his bed with his left arm missing.

"Don't worry about me, onis have high regenerative abilities. My arm will be back in two days or so"

Shu replied, forcing a smile. However, Arc could clearly see Shu had been crying severely before he arrived.

"How could they.... you're just a kid"

Arc muttered, his face full of anger. He jumped on his bed and began racking his brain for a way to escape as soon as possible.

He originally assumed he would be able to wait till Yami and Alberto were back in action to escape but it's only been a day and he's already broken. Even worse, they cut off the arm of a nine year old child.

He had a new goal now, to at least find a way to get Shu out of this hellhole.

"Hey, I"

"This collar prevents the use of ygg, but since your system doesn't make use of it, I can still use my powers, right?"

[Yes, that's correct. Although, you've made the correct decision so far— even if you took control of some beasts here, it wouldn't be enough to overpower all the guards, and if they find out you can still use your powers, they'll take extra precautions against you]

A plan formed in Arc's mind and he waited till the end of the day to carry it out— he intended to use shadow warp to escape. However, to do that, he needs to get one of his beasts out of the prison.

There are only two times in the day prisoners are allowed to see the sky— during free time and at the open air bath. During free time, the guards still monitor them so he couldn't use that opportunity. His only chance was the open air bath.

Arc headed there at ten thirty after everyone had already left and released buster to fly out of the prison.

"Use max speed so no one on lookout notices"

Buster took off from the smiling Arc who was expecting great results. But then

*THUD

It appeared as though Buster was repelled by an invisible wall and was crashing down at incredible speeds into the bath.

"W-What, Wait!"

Arc quickly attempted scrambling out of the bath but was too late. Buster crashed into the bath, the impact blowing both Arc and all the water out of it.

Arc was blown towards the door where he crashed into something and fell face facing the floor.

"W-What?"

He was holding onto something small but a little squishy..... not just that, he could feel.....skin between him and the floor. It felt firm, but soft...slender but toned.

He didn't bump into something, it was someone.

"Quit groping me, you brat!"

And that voice....he definitely recognized it. He struggled to utter his next words but it still came out easily

"Rei..... you're...A GIRL?!"

Arc woke up early in time for rollcall today. He could still feel the sting on his cheek from Rei's slap. He got up and stepped out of the cell and happened to stand next to an angry Rei, looking away with a disgusted expression.

"Listen, Ms Rei.... I didn't mean to..."

"Perverted brat"

She muttered as she walked off to the mines. Arc tried severally to talk to her during work but she avoided him at every turn.

"Sigh— why won't she talk to me? I just want to apologise"

"Rei might've been tomboyish for as long as I've known her, but she's still a girl"

Shu replied from beside him, his arm almost fully regenerated.

"Huh?"

"I heard what happened from Rei. She knows you didn't mean to, just give her a little time and space"

"Geez, I seriously messed up if I'm being lectured by a nine year old"

[He's not wrong though. Seriously, I can't believe you thought she was a boy, haha, fool]

"You could've told me!"

His face soon turned red with embarrassment after realizing he said that out loud. He silently carried on with his work and didn't get to apologise to Rei.

He headed to the cafeteria later with Shu where he joined Alfred and Melissa. He took a seat far from Melissa as a result of his mild PTSD and as usual, Rei wasn't joining their table for lunch, she was eating with Yuki.

"Is that ice boy her boyfriend or something?"

"What's this? Are you jealous, Arc?"

"Ofcourse I am. It's like everyone has a girlfriend except me, sighhh"

Just then, they noticed trouble over at Rei's table. Some guy just knocked over their plates of food and grabbed Rei by the hair.

"Why isn't she fighting back?"

"That's Otto, an oni warrior from our village. It's custom to respect our elders so she can't fight back, she respects that outdated crap way too much"

Shu responded with a sullen expression while tightening his fist. The man was so loud people could hear every syllable emanating from his mouth.

"BECAUSE OF YOU, ALL THE YOUNG'UNS WERE CAPTURED! WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF, BRAT!"

"It's not her fault! Rei did the absolute best she cou—"

Yuki intervened, trying to advocate for his silent companion but was punched into the table.

"I wasn't talking to you, boy. Remember your place"

He directed his attention back to Rei, pulling her hair even further.

"You're an incompetent fool. Should've expected that from the sister of a traitor"

Rei's expression grew even darker by that statement, tears welling up in her eyes.

"STILL NOT SAYING ANYTHING, HUH?! ARE YOU LOOKING DOWN ON ME?! "

The infuriated Otto lifted and tightened his right fist while still pulling her hair with left

"I'll teach you some manners, you brat"

*WHACK

Otto's punch landed but not on target. It hit the guarded palm of Arc Stollen who jumped on Otto's left arm a fraction of a second earlier forcing the man to let go of her hair.

"I think that's enough Mister. I'll rather you don't cause trouble for my cellmate"

Arc said with a polite smile.
