As a Symbiote in Marvel multiverse

Chapter 40: The Arrival of the Monarch

**Earth-199999**

Peter stood in his casual attire amidst the devastation of Sokovia. Destroyed buildings surrounded him, robot parts littered the ground, and chaos reigned as the floating city ascended.

"Raphael," Peter called out mentally. 'Scan the area. Gather all the data from this Earth and summarize it.'

Raphael replied.

> "On it,"

Within seconds, he continued.

> "This is an alternate universe of the MCU. Most events align with Earth-616 but have slight differences. Currently, you're in Sokovia, during Ultron's assault. We are exactly where we wanted to be."

Peter nodded as he processed all the data. He was witnessing the infamous Sokovia incident, where Ultron aimed to annihilate humanity by transforming the city into a meteor. Shield operatives scrambled to evacuate civilians, while Ultron's forces tried to thwart their efforts.

"Time to make our move," Peter muttered while summoning Phantom.

Phantom appeared with a black mist surrounding him which later disappeared and then bowed slightly. "You summoned me, my liege."

"Teleport all the civilians to Shield's lifepods," Peter commanded.

Phantom grinned. "As you wish, my liege. I'm eager to witness your brilliance in action." With that, Phantom ascended above the floating city while spreading his arms wide. Multiple portals appeared below, engulfing civilians and depositing them safely aboard Shield's pods.

Peter watched with satisfaction. Phantom had grown remarkably powerful since his rebirth, now capable of channeling interdimensional magic effortlessly. All the knowledge of Kamar-Taj, which Peter had shared with him and the mental training session with both of them was clearly paying off.

"Now," Peter whispered while activating his camouflage and presence-cancellation magic, rendering himself invisible. He teleported directly to the center of the chaos—the location of the drill.

.

.

.

Peter materialized at the top of the broken church, where the Avengers had gathered to protect the drill from Ultron. Robots lay scattered in pieces around them which is the result of their relentless battle.

Ultron himself floated ominously above with his glowing eyes and is scanning the group below.

Thor with his hammer in hand shouted, "Is that the best you can do?"

Ultron raised his left hand. A deafening whir filled the air as hundreds of robots swarmed toward the church.

All of the Avengers looked the robots tensed seeing that many robots at once.

Steve Rogers sighed while casting a side glance at Thor. "You had to ask."

Thor is silently looked around but tightened his grip on Mjölnir as the sheer number of enemies became evident.

> "197 robots, Not including Ultron himself."

Raphael informed Peter who is watching the scene silently.

Ultron's synthetic voice echoed through the church as he spread his arms wide with a smirk on his robotic face. "This is what I can do. All of you, against all of me. How could you possibly think you can stop me?"

Peter decided it was time to make his entrance.

"They don't need to stop you," Peter's voice came from above.

All eyes turned toward the source of the voice. Ultron tilted his head in confusion as Peter materialized out of thin air and is standing tall and imposing in his Malvare suit. He floated momentarily before landing with a thunderous boom while cracking the ground beneath him.

> "That is what we call a dramatic entry, People."

"Who are you?" Ultron demanded with curiosity and malice. He already searched about this new mysterious figure in his database and found nothing.

Peter turned to the Avengers who are eyeing him cautiously. Underneath his mask, he smirked clearly enjoying their bafflement. He turned back to Ultron and spoke with confidence. "It's pointless to introduce myself to someone who's about to die."

Peter raised his left arm and then a sphere of compressed electromagnetic energy began forming in his palm. Sparks of electricity crackled violently around him as the energy grew in intensity.

Inside his suit, Tony Stark scanned the energy readings. "Not bad," he quipped to Thor. "Looks like you've got some competition in the thunder and electricity department."

Thor who is unimpressed gripped Mjölnir tightly. "We'll see."

Ultron's robots charged toward Peter, but it was too late.

"Skadoosh," Peter muttered and then clenched his left hand into a fist.

A massive EMP blast erupted from Peter's hand, rippling across the entire floating island of Sokovia. The force was deafening, a symphony of destruction as every electronic system was obliterated. Ultron's robotic army seized up and all of them began collapsing to the ground in lifeless heaps.

Even Ultron himself faltered with sparks flying from his joints as his systems struggled against the overwhelming surge.

A Protective shield suddenly appeared and shielded the Avengers from the impact of the blast.

The Avengers shielded their eyes from the brilliant light and was stunned by the sheer magnitude of the attack.

When the dust settled, the church was eerily silent. Peter stood amidst the wreckage with his suit crackling with residual electrical energy. He turned to face the Avengers, their shocked expression excited him more.

"Your turn," he said while looking toward the stunned Ultron who is now barely functional.

With a flick of his left hand, Peter used telekinesis to hold Ultron in place. The once-menacing machine struggled against the invisible force and his body began crumbling and twitching in futility. Peter slowly clenched his fist causing Ultron's metallic frame to compress and groan under the immense pressure.

Just as Ultron's body was on the verge of collapse, Peter paused. He gestured again and began pulling the AI robot closer until they were face-to-face.

Ultron who is now reduced to a shell of his former self stared at Peter with his flickering optics. "What... are you?" he rasped as his synthetic voice trembling with a mix of confusion and fear.

Peter smirked beneath his mask. "Your death."

With those words, Peter clenched his fist tighter, crushing Ultron's body into a compact sphere of twisted metal. He then snapped his right fingers, and the metallic orb dissolved into fine dust and the dust began scattering into the wind.

Phantom who is observing all this descended from the sky with theatrical applause. "A magnificent performance, my liege! Truly awe-inspiring!"

The Avengers tensed at the sight of the demonic figure floating down. Thier Weapons were raised and their battle-hardened instincts kicked in.

Tony's voice broke the silence. "Uh, guys? We've got a situation. I can't contact anyone. Not even Friday." His mask's HUD flickered and he turned toward Peter and Phantom. "Alright, who are you two? And more importantly, what the hell did you just do?"

Before Peter could answer, Phantom stepped forward with flair, spreading his arms wide. "Behold! You are in the presence of His Majesty—The Symbiote King, the Ruler of the Symbiote Legion, the Monarch of the Symbiotes, and Sovereign of the Symbiote Planet! You are blessed to witness his unparalleled might!"

"..."

A heavy silence filled the air as everyone stared at Phantom.

Peter's jaw dropped behind his mask. He mentally groaned. 'Seriously, Phantom?'

Raphael chimed in telepathically,

> "If I could die from secondhand embarrassment, I'd be gone by now."

"No one asked you, Raphael," Peter snapped in his mind.

Phantom turned to Peter with a beaming expression, clearly expecting praise for his introduction.

Peter sighed while rubbing his temples. "Phantom, get back."

Phantom immediately bowed. "As you command, my liege," he said and began floating back behind Peter.

The Avengers remained tense with their weapons still aimed at Peter and Phantom. Steve Rogers stepped forward cautiously. "Alright. Who are you? And—" he glanced around at their surroundings—"where exactly are we?"

Peter relaxed his stance, "I'm here to help you," he said with a faint smile. "As for where we are..." he spread his hands out dramatically and gestured to the surreal landscape around them. The buildings of Sokovia twisted and bent in impossible angles, the sky reflected endlessly like shards of broken glass. "Welcome to the Mirror Dimension."

The Avengers exchanged wary glances and are clearly unfamiliar with their new surroundings.

**A few moments earlier**

Nick Fury stood infront of the control panel inside the Helicarrier, his one good eye is scanning the chaos from the screen. Sokovia floated precariously in the air, and S.H.I.E.L.D.'s life pods worked tirelessly to evacuate civilians from the doomed city. The operation seemed to be progressing smoothly, but Fury's instincts told him something was off.

"Director Fury," Maria Hill called from his side. "You should see this."

Fury turned to the screen Hill was monitoring. She expanded a video feed showing something extraordinary: civilians appearing out of nowhere through shimmering portals, which closed instantly after they passed through. Within minutes, the life pods were full of evacuees, far exceeding their expected capacity. Not only that, some people of sakovia began to appear from the portal to the locations marked for letting them rest which is inside the Helicarrier.

Fury frowned. "Can someone explain to me what the hell is happening out there?" He tapped his earpiece. "Rhodey, you got eyes on this?"

Rhodey's voice crackled through the comm. "Yeah, you're gonna wanna see this."

The screen switched to Rhodey's perspective from his War Machine suit. He hovered outside Sokovia, scanning the area. Suddenly, a large, glass-like crack appeared in the sky above the floating city.

"What the—" Rhodey muttered as the crack expanded, encasing Sokovia in a strange, reflective sphere. Within seconds, the entire city vanished.

"Zoom in on that," Fury ordered but his voice became tense.

Rhodey complied and began enhancing his feed. A black, humanoid muscular figure with white, bulbous eyes and a grotesque grin stood below the chaos. Its long, snake-like tongue flicked out as it smirked directly at Rhodey.

"What in God's name...?" Hill muttered.

The creature raised a hand, giving a mocking wave before disappearing in a flash of black mist.

Inside of the Helicarrier fell silent as the live stream ended. The tension in the room was palpable, and even Fury looked unsettled which is a rare sight.

Maria Hill broke the silence after tapping multiple times on her screen and she placed her hand on her comms. "Sir, we've lost contact with the Avengers."

Fury's gaze hardened as he stared at the empty space where Sokovia had been moments ago. "Some motherf—" He stopped himself while exhaling sharply. "Some thing got us good."

Hill nodded. "What's the plan?"

Fury straightened, "First, we figure out what we're dealing with. Hill, pull up every record we have on alien anomalies. Rhodey, stay on alert and scan the area for residual energy signatures. And someone find out who or what that black... thing was."

"Yes, sir," Hill replied and began to move to execute his orders.

Fury turned back to the empty sky. Whatever had taken Sokovia—and the Avengers with it—was a threat unlike anything they'd faced before.
